We stayed just the one night here on our way to the Black Forest on a Motorbike tour. Bouillon is a really charming town, very pretty. The hotel is in a nice spot just near the river. . . . . You could call it quaint but I would rather say it's just plain dated. The twin room I shared... More

This hotel is nicely decorated . It reminds some place we been in Alsace. Very clean rooms. We had dinner and the food was well presented and enough quantity. Breakfast was good as well. Is well located some minutes away from the Bouillon Castle.

Quirky decor, with a sense of humour which we loved ( and we are still talking about the small stuffed animals !), very helpful friendly staff, comfortable, in a beautiful setting. Generous sized room, with lovely view of the river, bridge and town to the left. Breakfast excellent with fresh fruit salad, this was the second stop on a two week... More

when we arrived, there was only the 1 staff member around, and she was outside! in order to get to your room, you have to walk through the restaurant to get to the lift - as i am aware there aren't any stairs! i don't like lifts, and it was quite small!!! the restaurant is a 4 star and looks... We booked a suite for a reasonoble price. When we arrived at the hotel there was no one in the reception; it rook us more than 10 minutes to find someone in the building! We were shown different rooms; they all looked as if they were not used for à longtime; they smelled old and mouldy; the bathrooms and showers... More

Just came back froma short week-end from Bouillon, where we stayed at this small hotel. Mind you, there are no chain hotels in this small village. There's nothing real GREAT to see at Bouillon - just take the little train on that bridge and you're done with all the history and culture behind Bouillon. I thought that the hotel and... More

We spent one night here during a late anniversary trip through France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany. Yes, the rooms and the elevator are small, but you're in Belgium! Enjoy the ambiance. The location was beautiful and the staff were so friendly! The room was clean and it had a hair dryer in the bathroom and a small refrigerator stocked with... More

Just returned from a trip to Holland and Belgium. Auberge d'Alsace in Bouillon is for sure not a 4* hotel! rooms needed updateding; good scrub and cleaning. there was nothing like a non smoking floor or non smoking room there, although we're booked for one! Breakfast was poor and not fresh; dishes were dirty! We moved after 1 night across... More

Let's start by saying that this hotel reminded me of hotels I stayed in all over Europe some 40 years ago. In a greatly homogenized Europe, this is not necessarily a bad thing. So, the hotel is old, the floors creak, some ceilings are low, the elevator is tiny and the rooms, in some cases, are too. Some of the... More
