Very nice gasthof with good food, friendly service and clean rooms. We had a triple room in the main building, which had plenty of space for us (family of 3). The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant surprisingly good. Would stay here again.

I stayed here for four nights in August with my friends ( a married couple ) and their one year old daughter. It's a very strange place to try and rate, due to the various little idiosyncrasies being amusing for the most part rather than annoying. It is in a very tiny village, strangely in an industrial looking area close... More

Very acceptable Gasthof on outskirts of Salzburg. Friendly, reasonale prices, straighftorward restaurant and bar, good breakfast. Direct bus line to Salzburg cirt centre. Short taci ride to Airport. Nothing fancy, few facilities, but all you need for evenings and overnight.

This was my first visit to Austria and unfortunately it was for business rather than pleasure. It was suggested to a colleague and I that we use this hotel and I wasn't disappointed with what was provided. This very much has the feel of a family run hotel - no surprise as it's location is in a village. The rooms... More

If you are looking for a family hotel, close enough from the highway or the city, but already in a rural area, this is the place to go in Salzburg. Ask for a room facing the creek and you will not hear anything from the bar (which is full only on Fri/Sat). And once you know that it is located... More

This family run hotel offers a wide range of different type of rooms at the same price (we looked for double rooms) in 2 buildings, so your experience could be a little bit different (shower only, bath tube and so on). Every time we are around Salzburg we like to stop here, for the kindness of the people, the good... More

The setting is lovely ,the distance to airport or centre very convinient with regular bus leaving outside hotel. The owner even arranged for staff to come in early on uor last morning so we could have our breakfast half an hour earlier as we had an early... We (three adults) had two rooms at the Kamml for two nights. For my friends who live in the States, it was part of their first trip to Europe. I chose this hotel because their website indicated it was in a quiet, country atmosphere, and I thought that was preferable to a noisy, city hotel. Silly me: we would have... More

WE stayed at this little hotel outside of Salzburg as we had found it in a best western accommodation book. The hotel was a little difficult to find, but worth the search. The views to the mountains was spectacular and the service wonderful. It is located in a small village with a little post office directly accross the courtyard/road. It... More
