This hotel would merit a good three-star rating, perhaps not the four it boasts. The rooms are spacious, the landings a bit old-fashioned, the breakfast good and generous, the opportunity to eat in the courtyard good when the weather is favourable. The staff are friendly and obliging. more

We stayed in their 'other' hotel 15mins walk from the main building. The rooms were dark, old fashioned (think 70's decor minus the shag-pile carpet and lava lamp), dirty and with a plastic pink bathroom. Stayed in a single room in summer 2000. The room was tiny, dark and slightly fusty. The entire hotel was very dark in fact. The staff were helpful though and all spoke English.
