Outwardly the room looked good and had a comfortable bed. However, for the price (£60) I wasn't impressed. A broken table lamp on the desk but worst of all was the mould on the bathroom tiles and large patches on the bathroom ceiling. Stayed for 2 nights at the Red Lion Hotel on 27th and 28th April. The room was OK but not to keen on the black mould all around the bath. The temperature control on the shower came off in my hand and try as I could with the shower curtain, I could not stop water leaking onto the bathroom floor.... More

Stayed 28/4/13. Booked superior double, 4 poster, very comfortable bed and large room. Ate in the evening, lovely food - 2 meals for under £10! Breakfast was equally good with lots of choice. All staff were friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Would definately recommend.
