We have returned to Redcastle several times during June July and August. It suits well when we have business in Derry. We love the views from the sea view rooms and always request one of these. Food is really good, staff are lovely and respond quickly to requests. The new menu is first class and we are returning with all... More

I and 4 of my friends had booked a "girlie day pamper package"a couple of weeks ago. When we got to the spa/pool area, we were given keys to a lockers that had bathrobes and slippers. We were each given a towel. We were all shocked at the state of the towels we were provided with; threadbare and stained. The... More

Dear Guest, I must point out the inaccuracies with your above review You have been in contact with the hotel regarding your recent trip and nowhere in this communication do you mention issues with towels, slippers or your issues with the spa area itself. Our pool area is a completely non slip area; the slippers that we provide to guests... More

Stayed one night for a treat before school starts back, had a lovely time, though weather was definitely not on our side! Kids loved the pool, beds very comfortable and staff helpful and friendly. There was a wedding on but we were checked in quickly and our room was quiet,no disturbance at all.We headed out that evening so I can't comment on... More

I booked a 2 night break offer (B&B plus evening meal), for myself and my wife a couple of weeks back. I had paid for the upgrade to a one bedroom suite, although the room itself was dead on, the view of Leisureland had a bit to be desired! I thought for all the time we would be in the... More

We stayed for 3 nights on a romantic break with dinner on the first night, one breakfast in bed and an add on couples spa treatment. On arrival despite lots of guests arriving for a wedding check in was quick and very efficient. The friendly porter carried our bags to the room where there was a bottle of sparkling wine... More

It is marketed as a "4 star Golf and Spa resort", however our stay was sub standard for a 4 star hotel. When we booked we requested a room with a sea view, we were given a disabled access room overlooking the carpark. This would have been fine, had one of us had a disability or the car park was... Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. There is an additional charge to stay in a seaview room and you would certainly have been allocated one of these rooms if this was what was booked. I note from your booking that you had booked a standard non seaview room. Our disabled rooms are virtually identical to all other bedrooms with... More

This was my first and last time to stay in this Hotel, first appearance the room was tired, shabby and not clean, the windows and mirrors where dirty and there was mould in the tea tray. I expected a family room to have two double beds at least but my children were to sleep in a sofa bed with a... More

My partner and I had a 2 night break away recently. Staff were friendly, food was outstanding in both the bar a restaurant. All was reasonably priced. The room itself was a let down definitely not what I would call luxury. Pretty bog standard. Not really a lot to within the town either.

Booked a party of 12 for bed, dinner, breakfast and golf and were not disappointed. Comfortable rooms, good food and attentive service. Due to heavy rain the golf course was very wet underfoot and played long, slow greens. Would go back

This is the third time I've been to this hotel in the past year and it was as good as ever this time. Great family rooms, food & staff. Only criticism is that the wifi signal only works near reception and we use iPads to entertain the family & not DVDs.
