The location of this hotel was just great- 10 minutes in a taxi from the station and right in the centre of the old town with all it's lovely old buildings and great cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed a few beer stops to help us cool down in the heat and the local beer was a little too easy to... More

We spent 3 nights here and used Kempten as a base to explore the region (Fussen, lake Constance, Neuschwanstein castle, etc). The hotel is a beautiful old building, very well kept and with spacious, clean rooms. It's located right in the middle of the old town, within walking distance of shops and restaurant and with parking available for guests. Nice... More

Hotel in the heart of old town. Great plaza at the front door with romantic outdoor eating and drinking. Close for day trips to castles, Lindau and the Austrian border. Room very large and very clean. Only draw back was no ice, we love our ice, or A/C; but we didn't need it as it was nice and cool outside... More

The hotel's location is very convenient and central in Kempten, within easy walking distance of many sights, shops, and restaurants. Our room was exceptionally spacious by European standards and well-equipped although the lack of coffee facilities in the room was a notable shortcoming. The other was the showerwhich was really just a shower head mounted above the bath, but too... More

Kempten has been our stop off point en route to Italy for over ten years. We had tried a number of hotels in the town, but none are comparable to the Furstenhof. It is easily accessible (make sure you book a parking spot in the underground car park for a nominal daily charge), spotlessly clean, spacious, central and exceptionally good... More

Very nice three night stay at the Furstenhof, which is located in the middle of the town square - a very quiet and quaint location. Average sized rooms with a modern bathroom. Unfortunately no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Free wifi available throughout the hotel. Receptionists extremely helpful. Breakfast was plentiful. A huge range of food to choose from,... We stayed here on our way to visit friends in Switzerland. The hotel looks impressive and is centrally located in the local town square, handy for all amenities. Parking is available at the side of the hotel, but this is limited. Inside the hotel is clean and wellcoming. The rooms are spacious with large comfortable beds and en-suite facilities. The... More

We picked this hotel for an over night stop on the way back from Lake Garda by Motorbike. This is a great hotel in a nice location, and when we were there in early sept it was nice and quiet. When we arrived we were soaking wet and a little concerned about going in with our wet bike gear on,... More

I have stayed at this wonderful hotel five different times since 1990, once with a tour group for the Oberammergau Passion Play, twice with family including teenage daughters and twice, most recently, with just me and my wife. It never ceases to please in every situation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the restaurant and breakfast room are spotless and... More
