We are currently staying at this Agritourismo villa. It looks very nice as you approach it and in a lovely setting BUT what a disappointment. We have stayed in three other Agritourismo places during our month in Italy which have been amazing We arrived here yesterday having booked in to find the place deserted so we drove around and returned.... The room was a not super clean, but we are not the type of people who whine about little details all the time. They could use a little bit more cleanliness though. Other than that, it was quiet and acted as a good base to visit the area and to make day trips to Rome. I wouldnt recommend it to... More

This place looked very appealing on their website. It was a disappointment in every way. Rooms rather shabby, however, it was evident that in the past, the building had been well looked after and care had been taken over the furnishings. On close inspection it was dirty. The fridge had mould in it and leaked water, there was a piece... More

Surrounded by vineyards (car is mandatory), sober but big rooms, comfortable bed. Nice breakfast, great views. Very helpful staff. Amazing nightly views of Rome area... I'd like to get back in a personal trip to fully enjoy the area.

We booked a one night stay at this estate as the last day of our honeymoon tour (with the entire family). It was great! We found a bouquet of flowers waiting for us in the room, and the next day we were treated with a bottle of sparkling wine by the pool. Lunch at the estate was great (have to... More

This hotel has a beautiful quiet rural location with views to Rome. It is near Ciampino Airport (Ryanair). It has a lovely pool. The receptionist, who also served breakfast, was very friendly and helpful. Our room was small and in an annexe in the garden. The main building was locked all day with no staff on hand. There is no... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tenuta di Pietra Porzia, one of the most splendid agritourism estates in Frascati, the Castelli Romani, Castel Gandolfo and Rome, comprises a villa dating back to 1945, a historical home and guest apartments dating back to 1850. The villa is now an agritourism estate with 8 rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a swimming pool and a breathtaking view. The Tenuta di Pietra Porzia restaurant is located in the villa and is open to the public further to booking. The large halls in the villa are an ideal location for events, dinners and weddings in areas around Frascati, Castelli Romani, Castel Gandolfo and Rome. Tenuta di Pietra Porzia has 47 hectares of vineyards and olive groves in Frascati and a longstanding history, which began in 496 B.C., when the Roman army won an important battle on the exact location of the modern-day Tenuta (Lake Regillo) helped by the "twin" sons of Jupiter. The landscape: This property is depicted by 40 hectares of vineyards covering the entire valley up to the topmost part of the property and 7 hectares of olive groves. The Villa on top of the hill provides a breathtaking and unique 360° view of the Monti Sabini, Frascati, the surrounding hills, the sea and Rome. ... more   less
