What a gem!! After a hairaising tight squeeze through the narrow streets in our hire car we managed to get a parking spot in the tiny square at the top of the street leading to Casa Campana. Emma helped us with our luggage and brought us a cold beer to the roof terrace...perfect! The views are wonderful. Simple but clean... More

Situated in the oldest part of the city, a must to stay here to see the sights. Emma our host was very helpful, showing us where we could park the car, even bringing us a beer on the house to dring on the private patio. She has even written a tour of the city with highlights of where to see.... More

It was great to have all the space we got as we stayed in the apartment. Our son got his own room. It was nice to have access to the roof top terrace. Be aware that no breakfast is included. Guests have their breakfast at one of the cafés close by. We had breakfast at the Parador, which was a... More

Casa Campana is in an atmospheric and wonderful location next to an old church, right in the middle of the old quarter of Arcos. Our room was simple and cosy, leading on to a great roof terrace, perfect for chilling out and admiring the views. Our two night stay was very peaceful. Jim is a genuine and excellent host with... The most magical part of our 7 week overseas trip was our stay at Casa Campana & Arcos de la Frontera. The warm welcome from Emma & her Family set the tone for our 4 day stay - nothing was too much trouble for them - help in finding where we had parked our car & then guiding us (very patiently)... We travelled down to Arcos de la Frontera from Cordoba and stayed at Casa Campana for two nights. Getting there was interesting: the streets are very, very narrow and we followed our nat-nav right to the place, where we luckily got a parking space near the church that was free. If your car is massive and you’re not confident with... More

Emma is a great host! The rooms were charming, comfortable and quiet. It was everything that we needed after 10 days traveling in Andalucia. Its situated in the old town so you really get a feel of Arcos. The view is breathtaking from the roof terrace. I would go back anytime. Plus there was a parking nearby, very cheap. More

Travelling with our 2 young dughters (8 & 10) we were looking for somewhere traditional, safe and central to base ourselves for a week in Andalusia - Casa Campana was just perfect! This lovely guest house in the heart of the old town of Arcos, between the two famous churches, is run by expat Brits Emma and Jim and their... More

I travelled to Arcos in August this year. It is certainly full of beauty, situated on a mountain top over looking the countyside you couldnt find a better place to retreat to, However my stay would not have been as great had i not stayed at Casa Campana. Having decided to travel to Acros alone i was almost certain i... More

During a 10-day trip in Spain, this was the best place we stayed. Casa Campana is beautifully decorated and a great value. We felt like we were staying in someone's home, and we were - the friendly owners, Jim and Emma, live there and are happy to share their expertise. They had great tips on places to go that would...
