Our experience at the this hotel was excellent. The place is run by a family and they took extremely good care of us. The property itself is gorgeous and is surrounded by natural beauty. The rooms and bathrooms are extremely clean. Perfect rest stop if you are driving through the route of the white villages.

Amazing setting, idyllic location, ideal lifestyle. If you are after a relaxing holiday, this is the place for you. Room is of rustic finished, bathroom is big & clean, bed is comfortable. Staff are very welcoming. Excellent breakfast, you can even squeeze your own orange juice. Swimming pool of good size, there are areas you can chill out. You can... More

Despite all the pros, that have been described at length by other reviewers, such as true tranquility, majestic building(s), good size swimming pool etc. one cannot overlook that there is a lot of neglect, disrepair and - very simply - dirt around. Bring your own domestos and cleaning utensils. We found blobs of hair in the shower and dead insects... More

The place is in a fantastic countryside location: the night sky alone makes it worth a visit! The views across the hills and the sunrise and sunsets. The rooms are fairly basic, beds a bit firm, pillows a bit thin. There is an lovely courtyard and refreshing swimming pool. There a re a few wasps nests that could do with... More

Beautiful Cortijo in lovely countryside. We spent four nights here at the beginning of August as a family of four. Had a few problems with the original rooms allotted to us, but this was very quickly sorted without fuss and we were moved to a family room with stunning views, a terrace and it was very quiet. A great place... More

Spent 3 nights here to visit a local fighting bull ranch & the lovely old hill town of Arcos de la Frontera. Rooms are simple but adequate. Pool area was relaxing. Buildings have many original features. Breakfast is charged separately but unless you want to drive a few kilometres, there is no alternative. You can squeeze your own orange juice,... More

We ended up on this property by chance, and it was one of our favorite stays. The farm was charming, with stunning views of the countryside. The room was comfortable and the price was more than reasonable. I would love to stay there in warm weather, and enjoy the pool and magical surroundings. Please note that you need a car... More

The pros: fantastically located in very easy driving distance from Jerez, Cadiz, Sevilla, the "white villages" (Grazalema, El Bosque ...) etc. Apart from the inhabitants of the cortijo and the odd tractor (they also run a farm) you can hear nothing but the sounds of nature. Very useful swimming pool. Extremely relaxed owner-managers who try to accommodate whatever is requested.... More

A week here on a singing course was idyllic. Located within easy distance of Cadiz, Seville, Jerez and Grazalema, the temptation to stay by the swimming pool reading from the library or playing with Toby, the sandal-stealing puppy, proved impossible to resist, though I did make the effort to visit Seville, Grazalema and Arcos. Self-catering casas and apartments are available,... More

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. My husband and I discovered it a few years ago and have visited four times since. We married there in may 2013 and it was perfect. The receptionist, remedios, was fantastic, as were all the staff. We stayed for a week with all our guests and it is fair to say everyone... More
