Spent a night in this hotel and impressed by the room with big window and sizeable sitting area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. No chance to try their restaurant for dinner but breakfast is pretty good. Shower area is a bit small but not a major problem.

We had a very disappointing experience. We went to this hotel as guest for the restaurant, Le Chalet. My wife ordered risotto with mushrooms. The diss was far too salty. After our complaint we had to wait a while for a new risotto, again with much too much salt. The waitresses didn't apology in any form and we had to pay... More

Absolutely recommendable. We spend 4 nights here in July 2014. Friendly staff, nice rooms and good restaurant. The view from the rooms was faboulous! We arrived late evening when it was dark and cloudy and were surprised by the scenery in the morning. The hotel was a good base for hikes, both easy and hard ones. It is quite easy... More

We only spent a night here but would've been happy to stay longer. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Our room was big and looked newly redone. Our view was incredible!!! Everything was great and breakfast the next morning was delicious in the restaurant..a bonus that it was free with our room. Highly recommend to anyone visiting! Somewhat harder... More

We stayed at the Desiree after doing half of the Europaweg (starting in Randa). Since we had hiked for more than 8 hours almost anything would have been fine but the hotel far exceeded our expectations. The owner was very polite and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Although we were a little late, they opened the sauna for... More

The rooms are spacious and for many with a beautiful view thanks to large windows from floor to ceiling. The bedding was too soft and below average for this category of hotels. Friendly hosts, although level of english relatively low. the cable car is only a few meters away. One thing that disturbed us was the cheese fondue smell coming... More
