Just returned from Alpine Club. We had a fantastic time. Skiing was great surprisingly as the sun shone most days and it got up to 18 degrees. would definitely recommend hiring a car though. We did not and spent €8 each way to Planai each day for the Gondola. We hired our ski equipment at Planai and left everything in... More

As a Club Member of DRI of some years now, I finally bit the bullet and paid full price (points) for a week at Schladming. It is very tough to get into so we actually booked a year in advance. Top tip number 1 flew Jet2. They were excellent and there was no worries about skis, boot bags, luggage limits... More

We are Diamond members , albeit recent ones and we decided to go back to skiing after some years away with our 2 children (15 yrs and 10yrs), who had never skied before. The Alpine club is ideally situated to enjoy both the winter sports and enjoy a relaxing break away. It is situated above Schladming and we stayed in... More

Alpine Club's staff was wonderful, the resort was clean and everyone was very helpful. The town of Schladming is quaint in a beautiful area. We had a studio that was spacious and well equiped. With this room, a better bed could be supplied. I was very disappointed with the quality of the mattress and bed. Everything else was great.

Well positioned for skiing with ski bus stop just outside. Short walk downhill into town centre. Accommodation extremely high standard. Staff cheerful and helpful, both reception and in the popular restaurant. Meals good and good portions. Have stayed here before and look forward to returning.

We have stayed here twice, once in Spring and just recently to ski. We can't wait to return. The staff are lovely. It has a very traditional feel, with stunning views and great access to skiing and well located for visiting other beautiful areas of Austria

Ours was just a quick weekend getway at this resort since we had some Diamond poits left which would expire by the end of the year. So we booked, took our car and drove to Schladming! I must say that our stay at the Alpine Club was an amazing surprise. A lovely location (the town of Schladming is a real... More

In the interests of being unbiased, I have tried very hard to think of anything less than excellent about the Alpine Club! The location is spectacular with views across and along the valley; the room, we had a 2-bedroom apartment, was perfect with a 5th floor balcony offering the very best of the view. Our room had a well-equipped kitchen... More

You'll need a car but everything else is Picture Perfect, especially the people. We visited in the off season and wished there was snow on the ground for skiing. Now I have reason #112 to return. The staff, the apartment, and the views are such gems they can not be discribed in words, you have visit in person. The rooms... More
