I'm walking the Camino and arriving at Las Mañanitas was bliss. It's a charming, small rural hotel which offers everything you need. The room and bathroom were spacious, fresh, clean with rural charm and there is a little fridge in the room. The owners are very friendly and helpful and give you dinner if you want it. We stayed with our family and had a great time. Nicely situation between Comillas and Santillana del mar and close to a small beautiful beach. Nice rooms in a stone house although a bit damp on the bottom floor. Kind and helpful owner.

My husband and I treated ourselves to this posada while hiking the camino Santiago. Was just 53 euros (special discounts for pilgrims) and worth every penny, especially because of the big bathtub (a rarity in europe) where I could soak my weary muscles. My mother and I stayed at Carlos' posada. It is very comfortable, well looked after, steaming hot high pressure shower, great breakfast. Well priced with a special discount for pilgrims.
