Palazzo Rinaldi is a beautiful place and Pina and Raffaele are the most delightful hosts. Discreet, very attentive , they always went the extra mile to make our stay special. The accomodation was superb. Wonderful views, charming and beautifully decorated bedrooms with comfortable beds and a great terrace where breakfast was served. Breakfast was a fantastic start to each day,... More

My husband (composer), 12-year old son and I (pianist) spent 10 days at Palazzo Rinaldi Artists' Residency in Noepoli, a small, remote hilltop village in the Basilicata region in late June through early July of this year (2014). What an incredible and rejuvenating experience it was for all of us! We were welcomed with warm hospitality by our hosts and... More

My husband (sculpture) and I (drawing) have just completed a two-week residency at Palazzo Rinaldi in Southern Italy. We found it more than lived up to its website description and far exceeded our expectations. We could not have asked for more gracious or more generous hosts. The Palazzo is located near the very top of a medieval hilltop town in... More

I spent one week at the Palazzo Rinaldi Artists' Residency. The Palazzo was built in 1822, kept in the family since then, it has sustained the incredible history, spirit and love of this family. My incredible hosts welcomed me into the Palazzo and their strong family history from day one, they are the foundation of your experience. Between the magnificent... More

My Husband and I spent two weeks at Palazzo Rinaldi Artist's Residency in the small hilltop village of Noepoli in July 2012. What a wonderful experience, to get off the tourist track and experience different aspects of life in Italy. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming. The accommodation was very comfortable. We had a room opening out onto the... More

My experience at Palazzo Rinaldi was wonderful. To wake up every morning to those sounds and views was amazing. The family welcomed us like we too were family. Inspirational setting. The skies, the walks, the food, the conversation. I will return at some point. I could not recommend it enough!

Beautiful accommodation, beautiful food, beautiful hosts. A wonderful, creative place to work. But its magic is that its inspiration long outlasts time spent at Palazzo Rinaldi. Only a one week stay, three and a half years ago, and Noepoli still reverberates through my work. Every June I think of it and wish I was there again.

The experience at Palazzo Rinaldi and the interactions with this family transcends words. How lucky and privileged we all are (past, present, and future) to escape into our art and to enjoy it--unfettered and without boundaries. Though my Italian is rusty, this residency is "mondale classe" world class! Grazie! Grazie! Grazie!

This is a beautiful region of Italy. A car is a must to explore. Susanna and family are wonderful hosts, kind and generous. The accommodations were very nice.
