The most relaxing stay! The rooms in the old wing of the lodge are beautiful and luxurious. Washrooms are spacious and nice. Staff is courteous. They like to interact with the guests. Food is basic. Enjoyed the pool, it's with a beautiful view. Had dinner in the garden area overlooking the old river bed.

this hotel is very far from the city and has very little civilization around it. It has just 14 rooms and has a very warm environment. The staff was extremely cordial and offered a "yes" to every single request. This hotel is owned by the King's family and has been leased by Taj. It is extremely well maintained and has... More

This was my first visit to Jaipur along with my friend. Booked this hotel through a travel website. The only disadvantage is that it's a bit far from the city. It's a small property that's nicely done in a homely way. The food was awesome and was suiting our tastes too... A big thanks to Madan who upgraded us to... More

We were there to celebrate our cousin's birthday . Food is really authentic and delicious . Rooms are huge in size , very well done up . Staff is very cooperative and helpful . Nice place for weekend . Winter or rainy season would be ideal time to be there .

Planned a weekend getaway from jaipur and one of the obvious choices nearby was the gateway hotel, ramgarh. We were about 17 people and had an amazing time at the hotel. The fact that we were perhaps the only ones there made a world of difference! The staff was very efficient and warm. The rooms are nice and huge! The... More

It was my third visit to the lodge, and again it did not disappoint. All the special requests were met, with a smile - early check-in, late check-out, food preferences, pool, bikes, etc. Mr. Magan took very special care of our big group of 12 people. Looking forward to staying again.

The heritage building, a hunting villa used by erstwhile king of Jaipur is currently converted into a hotel. Actually it is more like a company guest house with only 14 rooms. And during our stay, we could see maximum 15 guests, and some days there were only 4 guests. This is a privately owned hotel, probably Taj Hotels group has... More

It was quite late in the evening and the hotel can be quite difficult to find, as it is down a very rough road! When we did get there we were greeted very formerly and given a drink before being shown our rooms. My room was huge! A beautiful suite ! Far too large and fabulous for just one person... More

Located in a remote place, this property has good facilities and decent rooms. Only thing lacking is the quality (and quantity for some dishes) of food portions. The cleaning staff is curt and very direct, even when the hotel is small and presumably not so hard to manage as the big city hotels. Please work on improving dining and staff... More

Went to the Ramgarth Lodge as part of my India experience with a group tour. At first sight this hotel seems idyllic, being remote, quiet and small but in reality this place requires better management and should certainly not be part of the Taj Group. The manager was rude when I mentined that there was not steam or sauna but... More
