The heritage building, a hunting villa used by erstwhile king of Jaipur is currently converted into a hotel. Actually it is more like a company guest house with only 14 rooms. And during our stay, we could see maximum 15 guests, and some days there were only 4 guests. This is a privately owned hotel, probably Taj Hotels group has... More

It was quite late in the evening and the hotel can be quite difficult to find, as it is down a very rough road! When we did get there we were greeted very formerly and given a drink before being shown our rooms. My room was huge! A beautiful suite ! Far too large and fabulous for just one person... More

Located in a remote place, this property has good facilities and decent rooms. Only thing lacking is the quality (and quantity for some dishes) of food portions. The cleaning staff is curt and very direct, even when the hotel is small and presumably not so hard to manage as the big city hotels. Please work on improving dining and staff... More

Went to the Ramgarth Lodge as part of my India experience with a group tour. At first sight this hotel seems idyllic, being remote, quiet and small but in reality this place requires better management and should certainly not be part of the Taj Group. The manager was rude when I mentined that there was not steam or sauna but... More

The hotel is far away From city..it's a small hotel of only 14 rooms. While evereverything else is ok, the dining options are not good. The food portions are very small just equivalent to a saucer!!. Considering it's a taj property, Atleast there should be standardisation of the food portions and should not be a way of making small money.

The place is popularly known Ramgarh Lodge, built by Maharani Gayatri Devi ji, and sculpted and designed by the Swiss Architect,( unfortunately his name is forgotten ) gives all the evidence that it's is not Indian Architect. The drawing room though small is full of Animal Trophies on all the four walls and floor also. That takes you to imagine... More

This Taj Hotels gateway property provides exceptional service and just a 4 hour drive from delhi. its a super comfortable hotel which is kids friendly and the ideal distance from Jaipur for a day trip. Rather than get caught in the insanity of Jaipur for the full day, the lodge is tranquil and hosts guests with warmth and great food!

We visited India to see my parents and decided to spend three days in Jaipur. We chose this hotel which is 30 kms from Jaipur. The sevice was excellent. It would get a bit nippy at night so the hosts organised a little fire for us in the garden in a drum that was portable. The food was homely and... More

Ramgarh lodge used to be the hunting lodge of the Royal Family of Jaipur. Constructed right on the Ramgarh lake dam from which it got its name. Unfortunately, the lake dried up almost a decade ago and now serves as a bed for farming. The Getaway is best for travellers coming down from Delhi-Jaipur Highway. You'll love the drive just... This place has been visited by the elders of my family in the days when the lake was full of water. Now a dried lake should not stop you from visiting the lodge as the boutique ambiance and great service will make you stay worthwhile. The staff was courteous and cheerful. The sun shines a lot in this place and... More
