One of the nicest places I have stayed! Wonderful homely feel, great game viewing by foot, jeep and elephant (also canoe but sadly not there long enough to try). The staff were amazing, food- yum, environment, relaxing, swimming pool great. My only problem was we didn't stay long enough. We will be back!

The lodge itself is in an extremely green and peaceful location. Just being there felt so nice. We were warmly welcomed and hosted by Surya, Varun, David and Rishi. Our accommodation was very comfortable and the decor earthy and unique. The safaris were a wonderful experience. They helped us understand and appreciate a variety of plants and animals. The beauty... More

We only stayed one night at the Forsyth Lodge, it is truly too bad we couldn't stay any longer. The lodge is great, the staff is very nice and very professional. The cook is so good. They have a great team of naturalists who really try to make your trip the best as possible. They organize your safaris trip by... More

A bumpy ride from Bhopal, Forsyth Lodge is located in a remote area of the Satpuras and there are no sign posts. The moment you step inside it's a different world. There is no mobile network. Our good friends The Mascarenhases, joined us at the lodge and we were fascinated by the rustic, classy sitting and dining areas, the wallpaintings... More

This is a lovely lodge which really does everything to make sure you have a wonderful forest experience. Unlike most places you can explore the forest on foot and in a canoe as well as by jeep. They have brilliant naturalists who accompany you and allowed us to see wild dogs and bears with comparative ease. Both David and Surya... More

We stayed for four nights with Forsyth Lodge in the month of October 2014. The place is excellent because of the personalised service this place gives you. The naturalist who is your companion through out your stay makes you experience the jungle more closely that you would otherwise. Everyone there ensures that you lack nothing and are comfortable. The rooms... More

My wife and I stayed here last December for 4 days. This is a remarkably well managed property in close proximity to the jungle and is a great weekend getaway for big city folks. Unlike most wildlife reserves across India, Satpura seems to honestly proclaim itself as just a wildlife reserve and not as a Tiger reserve (although forest rangers... More

Nice property and in proximity to national park. Good cottages and well maintained. Sleeping arrangements at roof also available. The best part is the naturalists that guide you well during your entire trip. We went for a trekking in Satpura national park and the content of knowledge delivered was excellent ranging from miniature creatures to big predators.Overall a great experience.... More

A remarkable experience: lots of wildlife, outstanding service, beautiful setting, unique cottage accommodation, delicately-spiced Indian food, and professional, knowledgeable, gracious and caring staff. Our adventure started with a 5:30 AM wake-up call; a cup of masala tea, if preferred, and a sweet; a dusty drive in an open jeep to Denwa River; transport by boat to the Satpura National Park.... Visit Forsyth for:- 1) Great naturalists like Payal & David who are by far the best we have encountered 2) Great food-they even arranged simple stuf for my 8 month old baby & good company 3) Satpura is a beautiful reserve - boat safari, jeep safari, elephant safari, nature walk within the reserve. 4) Great bird life P.S.- We travelled...
