If you realize that the people behind Forsyths lodge made it possible to do safaris on foot, by canoe, on elephant and by bike, then this is a fantastic place to be! Great service, with the nature heart at the right place. Great stay!

If your focus isn't on tiger then Satpura is the place to go. Not easy to access but this is one of the most beautiful parks. Forsyth's is the closest lodge to the game park reserve and the guides and staff are super. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you. It is comfortable and... More

This was to be the pinnacle of the holiday and it didn't disappoint. After a 6 hr car transfer from Pench, through some stunning countryside, we arrived at Forsyth to a lovely welcome. Rishi, the manager, explained the ethos of Forsyth's whilst showing us around. Instinctively you knew this was going to be good. Large room, beautifully decorated, great facilities... More

Yes Forsyth is a must visit Lodge. We had a very short stay in end January this year and we really had wonderful time at Forsyth. The Lodge is very thoughtfully done. But nothing makes the same level of impression as the staff- Right from Rishi (GM) to the Naturalists, Chef, Service staff all goes out of the way to... More

I had a lovely stay at Forsyth Lodge for about 3 days. The entire lodge is beautiful designed for a serene and comfortable retreat. The cottage was excellent with well-designed interiors, and well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the sit-out with its comfy settee and chair - just the place to be after lunch, with a nice book, warm sun and plenty... More

Satpura National Park is still one of those not oft visited central Indian national parks. That makes it worth many visits. This was my first. I decided on Forsyth Lodge by looking at its wonderful website and asking people who have already been to Satpura. Forsyth is not one of the most luxurious wildlife lodges, there are many others which... More

Satpura is still a gem of a park; and I hope it will stay like this as long as possible and will not be the victim of his own succes. This will also count for Forsyths lodge. This lodge is in the league of the absolute top lodges, just due to the dedication of the manager, his wife, and the... More

Four nights and three days are needed to make up for the time it takes to get there and another day to return. But I guess all good things need to be a bit off the beaten track! Some of the earlier reviews have in detail explained what I thought I would write so let me be original and short.... More

We stayed at Satpura lodge for three nights in January 2014. All in all this was a very pleasant experience. The hospitality and warmth by Rishi and his team was inspiring. The meals served at the lodge were absolutely delicious. The service was top notch in what can only be described as a rustic setting. We enjoyed several safaris under... More

Last year we had such a good time at Satpura Forsyth Lodge that we decided to visit again and we were not disappointed. There was the same warm welcome. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the naturalists very knowledgable. It was like meeting with friends. This year we also made a trip in a rowing boat on... More
