Eastwell is a beautiful manor house with lovely gardens, a very nice spa and good food. But... they have some problems. We stayed in the Mews cottages, which although spacious downstairs, the bedrooms are big enough for a double bed and that's it. The cleaning staff managed to keep all the spiders in the room throughout our stay. Our shower... More

A beautiful hotel in a stunning location, plenty of amenities to engage a variety of tastes and ages. The food is delicious and very well presented. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and thoughtfully set out. The staff are very helpful, polite and very professional. We were celebrating an important wedding anniversary and were made to feel very special during our stay.

Stayed for one night 29/8 and was immediately impressed with the setting of the hotel and the beautiful grounds that surround it. We stayed in the George Finch room which was at top of the hotel reached by two flights of stairs and had great views of the gardens down to the open air pool . The room had a... More

Had a very lovely afternoon tea here. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive, which was perfect. Sandwiches were tasty, scones were warm and lovely with the clotted cream, Jam and Lemon curd, plus lots of yummy little pastries. The pots of tea were refillable, another plus. Our only small complaint would be that the members of our party... More

Booked for afternoon tea for a family member's birthday as a treat. We all agreed that the the setting and tea was lovely. Seating was a little awkward as we had a mixture of chairs and a sofa which was very low. We had to ask for cushions. Although the sandwich fillings were a little "different" we all managed to... We have just got home from an amazing champagne afternoon tea. Initially we had waited twenty minutes after being seated before being served, but this did not detract from our lovely experience of this very grand and ornate house. Our food and drink was very good with a wide choice of tea and excellent champagne. After we had finished our... More

We went there for my wife's 70th birthday. It was raining in torrents when we arrived and waited 15 minutes. Finally we called the front desk and head porter, Ken Mason came out with umbrellas and guided us around, sometimes through puddles. He had remembered us from previous visits, including just afternoon tea when I came with my grand-daughter. We... More

We went to Eastwell Manor for a Sunday lunch on the 23rd August for a family member's 65th birthday. We were seated right next to the piano which although was slightly loud to the ear. the pianist who was playing that day really, really, added something extra special to my meal. It was exceptionally soothing to have the piano playing... More

I went for a hen party with a very close friend of mine. Luckily the hen says she enjoyed herself. Nevertheless unfortunately there was just a few too many mistakes - it was just a bit upsetting. I was extremely saddened to see after a long journey once we finally got to our room we had no robe or slippers.... More
