We stayed for two nights on a powered site. Nice grounds and close to some great beaches. Would have liked to have a fire but didn't want to do the whole pay deposit pay for wood thing. Good showers for the $1 and clean amenities. Used the kitchen for some washing up, didn't seem to get hot water in the... More

A lovely bush retreat. there was an article in the Wanderers Magazine and we thought - we must go there!! On our way to Stanley we stayed one night. Beautiful bush retreat. When we went to park our fifth wheeler we must have looked like we were novices!! Dave, the Manager came out to offer help and advice to help... More

We are four couples traveling in a caravan, poptop, bus and fifth wheeler and stayed for three nights. We had a problem with our toilet leaking and approached the owner Dave for help. He wasted no time in helping me fix the problem and had most of the bits and pieces in his shed. The park has a lovely bush... More

Just returned from a 2 night stay and I must say we are very impressed. The cabins are spacious and spotless. Everything you need is there, and at a excellent price. Lots of things to do and see. Will definitely be going back.

Wow an amazing setting with the beach and a beautiful river at hand. Camping areas gave some privacy and had lovely bush setting . Heard a rumour that council and government trying to ruin this peaceful, family friendly place. Hope not as I will be returning, one visit and I am hooked. Owners were friendly and helpful. Loveliest camping grounds... More

We stayed for 2 nights in a campervan for two people. It was great value for our money. Staff was very friendly - they even lent us sheets because we didn't have. Toilets were very clean, laundry was well equipped. The location is gorgeous, in the middle of the forest and about 500 m. to the sea.

First things first this place is an Eco park. It is not a 5 star campground. So if you want 5 star facilities, swimming pool, golf course, putt-putt course, jungle gym for the kids - go to one of the sterile campgrounds in/near suburbia. Also if you don't like bush settings, resident wildlife including pademelons, ducks and nesting blue wrens... More

The positives, the site was super roomy, enough for 4 families. My son loved the playground, cycled everywhere, including the beach which was covered in tiny crabs and amazing sunsets. We would ask for a site away from the sewerage ponds however, as the smell was overwhelmingly awful. I did notice it disappeared when walking beyond our site, so it... More

Blink and you'd miss the turn off to Crayfish Creek Caravan Park - but at your own detriment! This has to be one of Australia's best hidden and most picturesque family friendly holiday parks. We've just spent two nights here and had a ball so much so we're planning a return visit later this year. The kids have had a... More

This is a relaxed campsite with powered and unpowered sites available from about $18 upwards. It is not the Hilton, so I'm not going to start complaining about minor details such as a spiderweb in the bathroom as that would be petty. There are also a few rustic cabins around to be rented. It is fantastic for kids as it... More
