Stayed at the Nameri Eco Camp, for a day with friends on our return journey from Arunachal Pradesh in first week of April 2015. The layout of the camp is superb. There are cottages/tents around the garden which provide comfortable stay. We took tented accommodation – 2 tents with an extra bed in one tent. Tents are equipped with attached... More

Eco camps nameri as the name suggests is a great place in the midst of nature nurturing neat and well organized camps. This place would be greatly appealing in the rains but seems definitely dry and barren otherwise in the summer months when we visited it. The staff is courteous and responsive. The food is tasty and full of flavour... More

It took around 4 hrs, stopped at Jagiroad for breakfast and on the way ordered lunch at Nameri Eco Camp. Planned as an intermediate stop between Manas and Kaziranga only, Nameri was an experience not to be missed by nature lovers. Built in the design of African safari lodges (but not offering the same standard) with friendly staff, good food, and a sympathic atmosphere. Dog families playing on the grounds, staff preparing a bonfire in cold nights, kitchen offering real... More

This is the best place to stay if visiting the Nameri Wildlife Sanctuary. Accommodation option is tents or cottages. Not much of a difference between the two. We stayed in tents and found it to be comfortable. The attached bathroom is concrete and gives you adequate privacy. Food is basic but good, perfect for birders. The staff is also polite... More

Its a good place to visit if you are in or visiting Guwahati. The layout of the camp is very nice with huge garden which has three segments providing sitting place to enjoy the calmness of this place and observe the bird life in the camp. There are cottages/tents around the garden which provide comfortable stay. The staff is very... More

Visited this place few years back as part of a group excursion. Stayed in dormitory. It was a very clean and calm place. Fully isolated from the city life. They arrange trekking and river rafting also. Trekking was really a good experience through this was my first excursion. However, didn't find rafting much adventurous due to lack of much current... I along with my friends took two days leave from office to go for a long drive and relax in the weekend to drain out the work stress. We decided Naremi Eco Camp as many of our friends recommended to visit there. We called the camp and booked two tents for night stay. We reached the camp at 1830 hrs.... More

We visited the nameri eco camp in March 2015. We were a group of 7 people and stayed in 3 tents. Food is good. Location is very scenic. located close to the Range Forest Office. this is helpful in getting the guards/trackers for the forest treks. The rafting down the river Jia Bhorelli is not to be missed.

We visited the Nameri Eco Camp as we wanted to go for trekking in the park and enjoy rafting at Jai Bhorelli river. We did not stay at the camp but we spent a few hours there and had breakfast and lunch. Firstly, the accommodation consisted of a few tents separated at a good distance from each other. I believe...
