Thank goodness for Adventure Nations, they took all the hard work out of this trip so professional will use them only from now on; Sunderbans Tiger Camp: Amazing food, wonderful service. Also no Tiger sighting since 18 12 2014...BUT on the third day we were amazingly lucky and got to see a massive female Tiger sitting on the edge of... More

Highly recommend for nice cottage, good food (expected more fish items though ) and the entertainment value. The staffs are quite talented lot. They performed a play for us, which was great and very unique.

First things first....after a harrowing booking experience- where your money gets debited online, but you have to follow up with their office for the booking voucher, we reach Priya cinema (pick up point) at 7.40 am...Mr Arnab (Waxpol Manager) had confirmed that the bus will start boarding at 7.45 am and depart at 8.00 am sharp....the pick up cars started... West Bengal tourism still hasn't regarded this place as a tourist hub, so the govt accomodation in shajnekhali is absolutely in shambles. Everybody that i knew who have travelled recommended this very highly, and right from the word go, i guess they are right. A beautiful spacious 22 seater bus picks u up in the morning..a dedicated and clean boat... More

We had gone there on December 2014 on a 1 night - 2 days trip 6 grown-ups and a kid. Although they did not offer us any of the discounts, offered to us by other establishments, we have nothing to complain. Rather we had a lovely time and wish to thank the crew for it. Whether it was the care... More

Loved the stay. From Kolkata to Godkhali Ferry Ghat (about 2.5 Hours, little over 100 KMs); then a 1 Hour 45 Ferry ride to the Resort. They have their own boats - so no worry. Excellent feel of nature, very friendly & helpful staff. Pretty good Lunch & Dinner spread (keeping in mind, the menu must cater to all kinds... More

Given the location and the fact that pretty much everything comes by boat, I would warn all who travel to Sunderbans to keep your expectations really low. The accommodation is decent-we took the executive cottage. The food is...well, poor to say the least. The package of 3 days and 2 nights is grueling. One barely gets time to catch one's... More

My expectations of this camp were high and I assumed (wrongly) that it would be like a safari camp / lodge in Africa. How wrong could I be! Most of the staff are pleasant enough and the boatmen who actually do the trips are great. However... the food is dreadful - overcooked and either too spicy or bland beyond belief.... More

The Chief Minster of West Bengal made a private trip, took over the entire hotel and so cancelled our booking. Our agent found another hotel, and all seemed well but the Chief Minister closed the entire National Park the day of our visit and so we had to kill time until the next day when we flew on to Assam.... The tour started badly when the company messed up our reservation (I had reserved it 2 months in advance) and 2 hours into the bus journey I got a phone call from the booking lady who moved us from the best room which we booked to one of the worst rooms and refunded the difference. If I had know I... More
