Despite being alone and carless on abroad, I didn't feel miserable and enjoyed my vacation so much because they arrange everything for you. One comment maybe for the minibar and kitchen use, in some rooms this area may be part of the common use area Thank you very much again for your patience and support.

I had the luxury suite and it was ok. But not more. The people from hotel was very helpful and Nice but it did not make it luxury. First of all it does not say in the booking that the suite does not have Windows and the terasse is deep Down under tall and thick walls so you only know... More

Medieval Castle S, General Manager at Mesta Medieval Castle Suites, responded to this review

Our Hotel Medieval Castle Suites is located at the medieval village of Mesta at Southern Chios. Mesta is a castle village, which was built in the 14th century and since then has been resident. Our suites are all inside the castle, they are renovated, by keeping the unique features of each room. Also, our hotel is not a common building... More

This hotel and location offers a completely unique experience to travelers, one that I would highly recommend to you if you like it friendly, quiet and traditional. This is 5 star accommodation built into 14th century fortress walls surrounding the old, unspoilt, traditional and completely authentic little medieval town of Mesta. It is not just the off-the-beaten-track location and the... More

Clean, friendly & beautiful castle compound. The owners arranged pickup from the dock arriving from Turkey. We made our own arrangements and they were very accommodating. The bus service was charming as we navigated across the island to the shore.

We chose Medieval Suites as we really wanted to stay in one of the villages of Chios in an authentic environment. Mesta is a very nice well-preserved village with a city center full of locals and nice bars and restos on the narrow streets. Going there end of September, the temperature was great and there were very few tourists. At... More

The most expensive of the hotels we stayed in during our holiday and by far the most uncomfortable. The most serious problem was the lack of heating - in January - making the temperature inside the same as outside (around 7C) but there were plenty of other things wrong as well. This hotel is in a beautiful medieval village and... More

The town of Mesta is so charming its insane. Tiny alleyways organised in a labyrinth of tiny streets clustered around the central square, where you can eat spendid simple flavourful traditional greek food while taking in the everday rhythms and life of the town. The suite (#102) was charming, all stone with a vaulted ceiling with small windows punche in... More

Having made several short trips to Chios over the years and staying in Chios town, we decided to spend a night in Mesta this year. We really like the town, and very much enjoyed our stay. From the beginning, Mary met us at the entrance of the town, helped us find parking, and walked us back to the office. We... More

I am fascinated by this hotel. Mesta is a fairy tale! To be part of this story, I recommend Hotel Medieval Castle. In other words - if you want to feel like a prince or princess, you need castle, i.e. Medieval Castle.
