Brilliant experience, highly recommended! Friendly staff who couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed this winter experience, nothing was too much trouble for anyone here. Sleep quality in the ice hotel was surprising good - both comfortable and warm! The must do activity here is the the dog sled ride - we experienced a bumpy ride along the trails,... More

Sleeping in a icehotel is an experience. But all rooms are decorated differently and you are free to choose your own room. All decorations are so unique and beautyful that it makes very difficult to choose. Once you have chosen than it is difficult to fall asleep as you want to enjoy as long as possible the view. This is... More

Great experience, and really a must do if you've made the effort of visiting Kirkenes. We visited the snow hotel and stayed the night as part of a trip hunting the northern lights. Although they didn't make an appearance, it was well worth the trip. We were collected on our trip at around 1 pm and brought the the Snow... More

This is an absolute must-visit and you really must stay overnight! We visited here in December 2013 on the opening night. They were still finishing some of the neatening up of the rooms and facilities as we arrived, but it just added to the feeling of the experience! The hotel itself is fantastic - around 24 rooms all individually carved... More

Really enjoyed this experience however the reindeer sausages are awful. Opportunity to feed the reindeer and see the huskies. the shop was a bit short on sizes. expensive. the chalets were really nice and would be worth a stay.

If you have never stayed in an igloo before then you should try this for the experience. The hotel has about 20plus rooms and the structure is made entirely of snow using techniques perfected by the Finns. Ice Cravings are craved by master craftsmen from Harbin, China. Those who know the Harbin International Ice Show should know what I am... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night in March 2012, it was a fantastic experience and the hotel staff were great and the food was good. I really enjoyed the dining experience in the evening, dinner is essentially served at big table with everyone sitting together, a nice opportunity to meet the rest of the guests. The rooms... More

We didn't stay the night here but we did visit as a Hurtigruten excursion. It's amazing!! I loved it! We visited towards the end of April so it near the end of the season which meant the rooms weren't being booked anymore. This meant we could see all of the rooms. We were given lots of free time to just... More

Wow!! What an amazing experience! The food & service provided is excellent but the rooms.... AMAZING!!! They are definitely worth the trip alone. Each room has unique carvings & the attention to detail is just astonishing. I had no trouble falling asleep & the cold didn't bother me at all. This was a unique, once in a lifetime experience. It... More

From start to finish this was a once in a life time experience. The pick up at Hurtigruten pier was perfectly organized, the drive to the hotel with great stops to view the area and then the Snowhotel. Wow, wow, wow! Very very nice staff to make us feel welcome and the hotel itself ... wow, wow, wow! A masterpiece!... More
