3 night break. It was fab. The owners are sooooooooooo lovely and their team are as lovely. We had a lovely room with small kitchen and lounge. It was toasty hot and cosy. Lovely shower. Food was fab... Their restaurant is the best around. 3 nights is far too short 😒. They booked all the experiences for us and couldn't... More

Gorgeous little huts. Central fire giving cracking heat (it was -33 C when we were there and the house was toasty warm). Self-catering facilities, although there were no shops nearby so I guess most useful if you were having a holiday with a car from within Norway. Lovely views of the lake from which you can see the Russian border.... More

nice and cosy BB accomodation, good value for your money in this Norwegian area. it´s located very close to russian border checkpoint around 20 minutes away from Kirkenes downtown. the room was clean an I slepped very well in the bed. The breakfast was really good and there´s also a small kitchen provided to prepare your own meals

We stayed here for 3 days in March 2015 and there was thick snow all around. The cabin was basic but very warm, had a small kitchen and nice shower room with a good powerful shower. Across the road is a small lake and halfway across that is the Russian border, so the landscape opposite is Russia. You can walk... More

We stayed here for one night on our honeymoon can't wait to go back. Wonderful people and just stunning. We had a lovely cosy cabin and the restaurant was amazing. Hopefully we will stay longer next time.

This is a strange place which perhaps suffers from a lack of clear direction. It is ceritainly NOT the place in te the photo on TA, that's the separte Gapahuken Restaurant across and down the road. Eatng there is not automatically part of your stay. There is. also a Husky Ranch. The guest house can ccommodate some 35+ people and... More

Very hard working team made this a great experience for us. We stayed two nights 6th and 7th March at the end of a week in Norway. The cabin was warm and cosy and the "away from it all" location was just what we wanted. The dog-sledding in the snow storm was fantastic and the dogs are so very friendly... More

My adult daughter and I stayed here for 4nights in January. Well what a magical place. The staff were so lovely, the owners were warm and friendly and the staff they employ are all so lovely and helpful, they all love the huskies and their job which is a real treat to witness. We had a sauna and Jacuzzi in... More

This is a delightful guest house, no more, in an intriguing part of Northern Norway overlooking the border with Russia across a frozen lake. Its buildings and cabins (Where you sleep) are quaint. No frills, cabins are warm, vary in size (We had a very spacious No. 3) Two double rooms between us but the double bed was rather small... More

Our flight was late in on Thursday evening so we didn't see very much - our meal was waiting for us and we were shown to a very nice room up a slope opposite the main meeting hall / reception. The next morning disaster struck as I slipped on my way to breakfast and fractured my leg. It should have... More
