Stayed in a 5 bedroom townhouse with 8 adults and 3 kids. Huge accommodation with washing machine, decent kitchen and a plasma tv with all 5 skysports and bt sports channels, itv bbc etc.although we didn't really watch any of it!! The resort has 3 decent restaurants and bars and the food isn't bad. We tended to walk down to... More

We have been here every year since 2009 and have never before seen this ridiculous and greedy queuing for loungers some people are there before 8 to be first in the queue. The apartment is lovely and location great. But don't think we'll be back Typical Brits .

The old village complex is lovely, really pretty and the gardens kept really well. BUT there are not enough sunbeds round all the pools and unless you queue at half eight you can't get one, and if you do get one you have to pay 3 euros for the privilege - I have never had to pay for a sunbed... Stayed at 10a Church Street. Lovely clean apartment above a cafe and bar front and back. Very noisy as the bar can serve until 1 a.m. Although there was no air conditioning it did state there would be a fan but unless somebody's hidden it I can't find it. Like wise with the bath sadly not one of those either... More

The village as a whole is beautiful and the surrounding areas are very quiet, clean and tidy. Our apartment was very tired and in need of an update particularly in the kitchen and the bathroom areas. We had no services during the weeklong stay. We had a two bedroom duplex which slept 4. Our roof terrace had a table and... More

Stayed here for 10 days having just returned. On the whole Villamoura is beautiful and would defo return. We rented a townhouse/apartment from a friend which was lovely and had great views of the pool. My only concern was in the 10 days we were here we didn't have maid service once so no fresh bedding we literally had to... More

This is our 3rd year of staying at the Old Village and I have to say that this year was the best one so far. We had found previous accomodation to be good but a touch tired, so this year we used OV international and had a property close to the main pool. Accomodation was spot on - slightly more... More

Stayed here for a week in a two bed townhouse in Sottish Road, an amazingly comfortable place to stay which is quite unique and very very well kept. The only downside is the sun-bed situation ! ! In order to be assured of one you firstly need to be queuing from around 8.15am, the electronic gates then open at 9am... More

We found (2 adults and a 5 year old) that the old village was safe, quiet, clean and friendly. The restaurants we tried were all lovely, on site with the princess gardens absolutely outstanding. Key card for access to the pool areas and plenty if grassy areas if you can't get or don't want to pay for a lounger. 15... More
