A disappointing stay in a tired, sprawling hotel. A pity because of its great location right on the sandy beach. Our small room was straight out of the 1970s with brown bath water in the evenings and an occasional, unwelcome whiff of the drains. Staff were friendly and spoke good english. Try it, you will love it We went there in 1974 so tried it again in June 2007! From the Midlands in the UK, Lisbon has not had reasonable cost flights, Charter Flights or Low Cost Airline flights for some years, especially since The Algarve has been developed.
