Lovely Rorbuer for a two night stay during our Lofoten tour. The rorbuers are all different sizes and spread over quite a big area so suggest check first before you book. Our one bedroom rorbuer had limited views, being at the roadside but was nevertheless very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is provided in the nearby restaurant on site and is... More

The rorbuers are old fishermen's cottages, so be prepared for two single beds if travelling as a couple! But the beds and sofa were really comfortable and it had everything you needed. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Svolvaer. The food was particularly good and the waitress service was excellent - staff showed great interest in explaining... More

We rented 3 different Rorbuers for a big family trip to Svolvaer. They vary in standard and furnnishing quite a lot. Ours was very basic with limited views, but that was OK for us as we hung out in the larger ones with our friends and spent all day out exploring. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant -... The site is very well presented, the restaurant excellent, both for breakfast and dinner. We had expected a Rorbu but were not allocated one. This was not the fault of the Svinoya Rorbuer but when we mentioned it, Pelle and Synnove could not have been more helpful. They moved us to much better accommodation, at no extra charge. We were... I stayed here two nights and it was excellent. The rorbuer is cosy, clean and with a great view! Breakfast in the morning is very good and you can eat at their restaurant (good) or cooking in your kitchen. It's definitely a special place to stay in the Lofoten. Quite recommended

The cabin we stayed in was everything we expected it to be. Cosy, comfortable, right by the sea, which amazing views of the harbour and of the surrounding mountains. Svinøya itself is a small island, but very well worth exploring all the way to the southern tip. The middle bit looks industrial, and we were hesitant to pass through it.... More

Charming fisherman's cabins located centrally in Svolvaer. Excellent service from personnel. Very romantic with possible access to hot bath tub outside. Almost felt like jumping in the glacial arctic ocean.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a trip through Vesteralen and Lofoten. Our rorbu was lovely - clean, comfortable and cosy. It was a great base for exploring or just relaxing, watching the gulls and ducks and the odd boat going by. This is a lovely location and the accommodation is of a really good standard.

Stayed with family for 1 day and 2 nights. The Rorbu is located at the water front, very nice location and close to the town. We had a great view from the cabin. The cabin was comfortable and clean with all appliances. The reception was open till late which allowed us to check in late. And the lady at the... More

We spent two memorable nights here it was delightful and better than we had imagined. Extremely warm and cosy with very comfortable beds, the kitchen had everything you would need although we only used the kettle as we ate breakfast and dinner at the local restaurant just a short walk away. The view was fabulous probably the most fascinating place... More
