The neglected looking driveway does not do justice to the hotel; inside the colourful art and design furniture bring flair to the lobby, including some fun “hands-on” art objects such as the music tiles in front of the doorway.
I stayed in room 135, in the old part of the hotel. Positives were that the bathroom and room have been very nicely redecorated. The tiles in the bathroom look like dark wood, very nice! The tv has a remote with sleeptimer, and fun is that one can try out different pillows that are provided in the room.
Negatives are the stained carpet, the double bed that consists of 2 singles (what is it with Dutch hotels and non-existing double matrasses!), with a gap in the middle that had the tendency to get wider (do not drop the remote!). Besides that the room is quite dark and hot and it lacks a safe and coffee and tea facilities. And there was no elevator to the first floor!
