I've stayed at the Beatrix a few times with work and it's one of the best hotels in the area. It's a bit out of the town centre beside the dyke. It's usually pretty windy but can be nice in summer. The rooms are good but have odd lighting leaving the rooms looking a bit dingy. Good showers and tv... More

Yep I would say it's a spa hotel it's just lacking the treatment rooms/ services. Great pool, jacuzzi, stem sauna area and the location of this hotel, in quiet suburb of HUISDUINEN are what makes us come back, despite the price tag being above the market rate for similar hotel facils. ( Equivalent IHG crown plaza) . We had not... More

Nice hotel in quiet area close to sea. A bit small terrace with no chair or table. Nice restaurant and serviceminded smiling personell. Very quiet area on weekdays. No action. And that's good. :-) will stay there again next time in den helder.

A good hotel for either business or pleasure. A little out of town but a great view out across the sea. A good place to take a leisurely walk. The rooms are of a decent quality but the wi fi signal is quite weak in the rooms and so the connection is quite slow and not dependable. The leisure facility... More

Nice location right on the beach, but a little out of town. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms nice and clean, but quite "cozy" and sound travel between rooms was not great. No iron in room, but available from reception, but no ironing board available so was advised to put a towel on the desk and use that instead!

Stayed here during a recent business trip to Den Helder. It is a decent hotel with good amenities. Service at the hotel is good at both the desk and they restaurant on the top floor. Rooms include breakfast, nothing fancy but a good solid Dutch fare. It's pretty far away from Den Helder, I had a car so it was... More

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights last week while having to conduct business in Den Helder. It's a nice hotel located right behind a dike so only being a few meters away from the sea. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are good (nothing more, nothing less). You will have to lock the door manually each time going... More

I reached the town of Den Helder already late at night, was participating in a Press Tour and visit the Naval Base and Shipyard in Den Helder. Fast and efficient service, cozy hotel, next to the lighthouse that marks the entrance to the shipping channel. Luxury with simplicity, good bed, bedroom correct and well equipped. TV, high-resolution, standard bathroom, I... More

Stayed recently for one night on a business trip; it's the recommended hotel for our work at the nearby den Helder airport. The hotel itself is lovely - potentially a little dated in decor for some tastes, but that's purely cosmetic. I note a couple of points from earlier reviews, and could concur - the light switches do seem a... More

I stayed for four days in the Hotel on a business trip, while I was working in the port of Den Helder close by. The hotel is classic dutch, a bit dark, carpets and so on. It's just a few metres away from the Dijk and the North Sea, as I was there in the european holiday season it was... More
