We had booked a juniot suite for 3 nights. Upon arrival we were requested to give our credit card and the 3 nights were charged to our card before being given the key to the room! The suite had a separate entrance from the hotel which was not practical as we don't lilke to go out into the cold before...

The botterweck is a lovely family run hotel in the heart of valkenburg. As an added bonus there is a cafe/cake shop attached to the hotel which serves the most delicious vlai - fruit flans.
I have stayed at this hotel 5 times now for the xmas markets. The rooms are lovely and cosy and perfect for those wintery nights....
