many things about the hotel are very good indeed. the staff were very professional and friendly. the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. only 200 metres from the centre of the small (attractive) town - which is filled with a good selection of tourist restaurants. hotel is a renovated older hotel - and is not overly pretty from the outside... The hotel in general is great. The view from the terrace is spectacular. The dining areas are modern and well equipped. Food is very good but entrees are rather small. Surprisingly, the children dishes seem to be large. The swimming is huge for a hotel pool. Wellness facilities seem to be nice even though we did not use the gym... More

I stay at this hotel for an annual convention. The package they offer for this event is quite attractive. The rooms are decent. I had a lot of problems with the shower which I could not figure out how to work which was very frustrating. Internet connections were problematic throughout my stay. Perhaps they need to increase guest bandwidth. Some... More

This old building has a lovely location with a nice view. The room we had was small but for the price nothing to complain about. The service was normal, friendly. The restaurant has a nice location and the food was good.

My family and I went to Valkenburg, in the Netherlands to visit the Christmas markets in the caves where we stayed at the Park hotel. We were given a room that smelled like sewerage and the toilet would not stop running. I asked for a new room and was begrudgingly given one. The new room didn’t smell, however the shower... More

I dont normally write reviews, but I felt to need to warn people about this hotel. They advertise 'double room' but all they provide is 2 single beds pushed together!! It was the most uncomfortable bed I ever slept in, all the rooms except the so called bridal suite are the same. When I complained and showed them I had... More

Good location and nice architecture. The room was big enough but a bit raunchy. The hygiene in the hotel was far below my expectation for a 4* hotel. The balcony of the room was probably never cleaned. The SPA was an absolute disappointment - the water in the swimming pool was dirty. Be aware that the sauna is only "no-clothing... More

We were very lucky to stay at this hotel for an overnight trip to valkenburg. We thought it was a great hotel to stay in and would certainly recommend it to others . We loved the ambience of the hotel inside the actual hotel, very old school and beautiful. Although the room was small it had been refurbished and was... More

Here are the positive aspects about the hotel: good location, very good swimming pool, nice sauna, friendly staff. Negative apects: very creepy, expensive breakfast, not enough towels provided for swimming, fitness room with really inferior equipment. Not a terrible place to stay but I would not stay there again. Something about this place is really creepy. Like the setting from a... More

The area is nice but the room is small and also the bathroom. I find the Roomrate too high. However the breakfast is excellent and this we enjoyed. This place is close to Maastricht which is a very nice area to shop or to have dinner.
