We were a group of 46 mainly senior citizens visiting the area for the Christmas Markets. The hotel staff were friendly and obliging arranging meal times to fit our itinerary. The food was excellent and the rooms spotlessly clean. We had a variety of rooms with some having a "tardis" for a shower room/toilet but all agreed that it did... more

The Hotel is situated 5 minutes from the main streets with lots of lovely bars and shops. There is a supermarket just opposite and a large carpark. The rooms are very basic but spotlessly clean, no draw space and a small wardrobe. Nice satellite tv, with English stations. The weather was exceptionally hot while we were there and the room... more

Location - Excellent. The centre of town is a stones throw away. Parking - the hotel has a very small car park, involving a 96 point turn to get into any of the spaces. There's also an extra charge of 5 euros per day, which was steep. The car park is barrier operated and you often have to wait for... more

Perhaps I should cross post to the Hotel de Boegarde, as that is actually the old part of this hotel, they use each other's rooms despite the De Boegarde not being a Best Western. However, the staff there being very pleasant and doing there best (no pun intended) it is a shame about the one night manager and the farce... more

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. The parents room was lovely with a very nice view of the river . However the children's room was tiny and would have not been acceptable for adults but we requested they were directly opposite us so can't complain as it was sufficient for their needs - Kids room had a view of... more

I stayed at the Hotel Walram with a group tour. I didn't expect luxury as I know that these group tours very rarely book top of the line hotels but I had no idea how bad this hotel was until I actually opened the door to the room. The room was basically a college dorm room. It had no decorations,... more

As many people have said the location of the hotel is great. The bar & restaurant are good with very friendly staff. The rooms are ok but could be improved. more

I was here a few months ago to visit the town of Valkenburg. In the BW Walram website the hotel actually looks pretty decent. In reality the hotel is quite shabby. We had a small room in the front of the hotel. There were twin beds stuffed in the room. There was hardly any space for a chair. The room... more

I stay here on a regular basis and enjoy the friendly staff and the quaint bar frequented mostly by locals. The hotel has several different type and sizes of rooms so I would advise you to ask to see your room first, no I am not going to tell you my favourite room, in case you get there first! Best... more

Visited Christmas markets with Translink from 1-6th December 2005. Hotel reception was fast and efficient. We had a room in the old part of the Hotel-fob and key. Others had swipe cards. We got the best deal. Large room with large bathroom. Lift doors are slow to close.Food- breakfast and dinner was buffet style, good and plentiful but like all... more
