Pretty old hotel in a lazy town. Well worn and in need of some room work. Big room , but very unpersonal , more like a meeting room refurnished for sleeping, Nice personal in front desk, breakfast was excellent . Bathroom was dirty ! I will not recommend to family and friends. Value for money is 2 , hotell generally... More

Hotel is situated in a nice location. Room needed refurbishment, but was spacious, clean and had comfortable beds and chairs. Bathroom too was a bit dated, but had all the necessary. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. So, overall rating would be much better than average, but a bit short of very good.... More

Good standard hotel, where everything is o.k.. We has a room on the ground floor, spacious because it seemed a meeting room as well. Diner and breakfast were both well enough but not outstanding. So, if you look for a fair priced, good place to stay - recommended.

What really makes this hotel is the staff. The hotel staff is helpful and the restaurant staff is outstanding and friendly. I spent three days here on business and they made my stay easy and enjoyable. The room itself is average by European standards. Simple, clean and efficient, not much else. Wi Fi connection was good. Best of all the... More

The hotel room is clean but very basically equipped; It has exactly what one would need and nothing more. The hotel is a bit old and needs some face lift. The toilet water were running all night making a disturbing noise. The shower was a good experience. Breakfast is also good with a relatively good variety. In sum this is... More

It is usual nowadays that, throughout the world, you find in your hotel room a notice, imploring you to use your bed linen and towels more than one day, because of the care for the environment. (Sounds also better than "improving the hotel profit"). But the customer is always offered the choice to discard towels or to keep them. Hotel... More

I stayed here with colleagues on business, and overall had no complaints. The rooms are large and comfortable, and everything works, including the free WiFi which is always appreciated when working. Dinner was excellent, and no complaints with breakfast - just what you expect from a European hotel. Service throughout was professional and friendly. My only quibble is that it... More

Exteriour of the hotel is really the from the 70ties. Lobby is shabby and depressing. Hallway's be in need of a coat of paint and a new carpet. There is free parking and wifi in the rooms. We were there for two nights. First night junior suite was satisfactory. But more 3 star than 4. Bathroom was really nice. Unfortunately... More

Nice hotel if you want to visit Groningen by car. Friendly staff, Wi-Fi is available for free by KPN. Our room was on the ground floor, and clearly formerly used as a small meeting room. I see that other reviewers had a room in another style. The room we had is very useful if you're traveling with a person who... More

This hotel is a small village hotel, not a star range hotel. Front office people were friendly and kind. We asked for a family room but they gave us a double room with twin beds. Room was clean but the balcony was not that clean. A bad smell kept on coming from the manure behind the balcony. Apart from that... More
