I spent only one night in this hotel but the first impression came from the smell felt when entered on the floor with the rooms: like it wasn't refreshed for a long time. I arrived at about 22:00 and there was no chance to eat something in the restaurant (is open only until 21:00). Together with the other two persons... More

Stayed here a couple of times for business for 2 weeks total. Room is okay but a bit dim. Bathroom is old with a hair dryer like a vacuum cleaner from the 70s. I have a coworker who did not have a shower door or shower curtains and she complained. Then after dinner she finally got a shower curtain but... More

having read the reviews of this hotel, we were very worried about going. However, it wasn't too bad. Yes, it was in great need of a re-vamp but was reasonably clean and the showers were strong with plenty of hot water. We were with Newmarket tours and didn't like the fact that they treated coach party visitors almost as 'undesirables'.... More

The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is close to the city center (if you want to have a nice dinner in the center) and it is close to all growers and companies that I visit when I am in Holland. Hotel has big (free of charge) outdoor parking. The negative thing to location is that hotel... More

We chose this Hotel because it was centrally located to all the people we were visiting. It had free parking and wifi, and a restaurant. It was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. My only negative comment would be that it is a bit overdue for a makeover, and maybe air conditioning would be nice. We were... More

I recently came to this hotel,as part of a Newmarket Holiday Tour. The hotel is 70 minutes away from Amsterdam. We arrived at the Hotel late at night, after a horrible journey. We were greeted with surly looks from the reception staff. The restaurant was closed, and we were not even offered a cup of coffee. The breakfast ( if... More

This hotel is very tatty & tired. Well overdue for a major revamp. Everything in the room was very old, worn, the bathroom completely unacceptable.. Very overprice. I will not be returning. Wll have to make another plan even though very convenient location for my business needs.

The place is ok. nothing more, but for this price one would expect a slightly fresher looking decoration, and room furniture that does not look like it has been handed over by two former places. Despite its air of past luxury, the hotel is very basic.

The Fletcher Carlton Hotel provides a basic room. My room was clean and as expected and nothing fancy. The hotel has a small bar and restaurant, but I did not eat there (except for breakfast). Parking was easy. I have stayed at the same hotel 2-3 times over the last 3-4 years while traveling in The Netherlands. Check-in was easy... More
