If you like to visit on the Dutch northern islands, go to the little Dutch island of Vlieland and then stay at the Westcord Strandhotel Seeduyn. We did it during some beautiful early spring days and enjoyed a wonderful time. The island is a little jewel with its wide and unspoiled sandy beaches, its dune landscapes, which resembles a piece... We are staying here at the moment. First off, the good. We have a sea facing room, and it's huge. The bathroom has a whirlpool which is very relaxing. Plenty of space to move around the room and sit in different areas. The balcony is nice, although of course it would be nice if there were some chairs outside to... More

Great rooms with a superb view over the nordsea. Spacious diner areas. Bikes for rent in the close neighbourhood. If you love to go around in Nature this is the place to go to. No cars allowed on the island

This hotel is wonderfully located at the beach. Step outside the hotel and you are on the beach, which is also very large. So plenty of room. The rooms are basic but good, the brasserie has some nice views and the food is good priced, the room was just behind the dune, so no view of the ocean, but we... More

Stayed at the Hotel for 2 nigts and was a very nice experience. The Rooms, we had one with seaview, are very nice. The only thing missing is a small fridge. The balcony is super to spent time and look at the beach and the sea. The chairs could use a renovation. The restaurants are super. You can choose between... More

We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and spent 5 nights at this hotel in July! Our room overlooked the dunes and the North Sea, we could leave our balcony door open all night and listen to the waves on the beach. Incredible! We had read the reviews and were a little concerned as people talked about not clean rooms... More

Our room was excellent, clean, functional and enjoyed a wonderful view across the beach and seemingly endless sea. The beds and couch corner were embraced by sufficient room to easily move. The bathroom with its jacuzzi like bubbly system and spacious separate shower (allowing for stretching) provided a sense of splendour. The fitness, requiring additional pay, is not worth the... Last week we've stayed for some days in the Strandhotel Seeduyn. It was a good stay. The hotel is well maintained, the rooms are quit and spacious and very clean. So was the bathroom. The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is really good. Having fresh coffee and breads overlooking the dunes and the sea. If you want... More

We were staying in apartment 152 which is privately owned, but maintained, booked and cleaned by the hotel. No complaints (spaceous, clean, good free WiFi) Swimming pools are okey. Spa a bit dissapointing as it does NOT have access to a swimming pool. Swimming is free; spa reasonably priced; breakfast/diner expensive. Hotel personel is friendly. The village is a 15... More

The location of this hotel in incredible. In the middle of the dunes, you only need to step outside to walk onto the beach. We had booked the valentine's package, which resulted in an upgrade of the room to a suite and added a 4-hour use of the wellness facilities to our stay. The suite was spacious, even had a... More
