Before and after our holiday we stayed in De Herbergh. 10 minutes with the free shuttle to the airport. Very relaxing and no rush in de morning to go to the airport after a wonderfull breakfast. We have tried 2 times dinner and it was amazing! La Bocca and La Bouche, they serve really good and fresh food. The staff... More

My husband and I are in our 70's. We were told there was shuttle to hotel, but shuttle driver wouldn't take us there but dropped us off at noveltel with 20 kg luggage each in the rain. We had been traveling in Europe for 30 days and this was our very worst experience. We were charged $14.50 each for breakfast,... More

If these guest's would have checked the website, it's clear that the shuttle is at walking distance. They checked in after 10 pm, then the kitchen is closed. We made them something to eat, it was after 10.30 pm, but did not charge 39,00 euro's We do not have an elevator but are always willing to help with the luggage.... More

Went to visit family and needed to sleep over for only one night. Booked by email, they responded very efficiently. Travelling with 2 kids and a baby. It isn't easy to find a room for 5 people. Asked for a crib but didn't even need it because the double bed was really big. Sure to go back when returning to... More

I stayed here with a colleague for 1 night after a party at Schiphol. The GPS of the car told me that we were there but it was not very clear that it is a hotel. There is a big sign saying Restaurant, but no hotel indication. I had to ask the Italian restaurant next to the hotel if it... More

My husband and I have stayed here several times. It's convenient to Schiphol and not a bad price. Comfortable rooms and nice atmosphere. The employees are especially nice and accomodating. Breakfast is delicious and generous. If you have time to eat at the restaurant, it is fabulous! One of my favorites. The bread is particularly delicious. We have stayed at... More

It was lovely to stay in a hotel that was not a chain. The price we paid for 2 nights bed and breakfast was very reasonable and the free shuttle bus [2 mins walk] was used daily. We had superb food in the restaurant in the evenings although the wine was not cheap.

We stayed two nights, enjoyed the stay absolutely. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. Bathroom was great. TV, but no wifi. Free carparking. All in all great value hotel! We would certainly go there again.

The hotel is charming and very nicely located between Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport. The restaurant was delicious! I had a fabulous dinner there and definitely recommend the dining. My room looked quite nice but the heater has not working and the windows had been left open for fresh air. I was freezing! I complained to the front desk but the... More

I would consider this little hotel a hidden gem. When we checked in, they noticed our large amount of luggage and gave us rooms on the first floor since there was no elevator. We also checked in early, and they had two out of our three rooms ready for us, which was great for luggage storage. The rooms were spotless... More

I would have found this hotel OK, but for the inflexibility upon our leaving. The hotel manager, who I believe runs this hotel with her husband, insisted on our paying a City Tax, even tho at all other hotels we stayed at on our two weeks trip, none other asked for this, as it was understood we paid in full...
