First impression was lovely. Good parking. Pleasant staff. Nice reception area. Then the bedroom!! Cold, shabby, badly laid out. The window had glass missing so was not double glazed. No bedside tables and lighting was on the headboard so if you sat up in bed you hid the light, No place to open suitcase if you wanted to keep your... More

The lekkerkerk location should not be rated a four star by any means. It took 4 tries to get a room we would stay in. Since we had a reservation we could not just leave. It is a very tired hotel and I would maybe rate a 3. Only good thing was we could walk into the small village. Enjoyable... More

Although the staff are nice the hotel is very tired. The food is not great although pricing is steep. I ordered italian burger on one evening to come with ham in a bap with a very salty mushroom soup all over it. Revolting. The beds are so low in the room that you need a hoist to get up in... More

An absolutely wonderful location for seeing flower fields and visiting Keukenhof. Rooms are comfortable and clean, check-in was okay but distracted as only one person answering phones and checking in. The restaurant was good food but very poor service. We had a package to include dinner and Keukenhof tickets and would not do it again. While the food in the... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, an excellent location for the Keukenhof Gardens and the bulb fields and even close enough to cycle to Keukenhof on the very good bikes hired from the hotel. Or if travelling by car from the hotel to Keukenhof you avoid all the traffic congestion. We had a deluxe room and could not fault it... More

Clean rooms with all you need. Good bed. Free wi-fi. The breakfast was perfect, a great variety of bread choices, with plenty of things to dress your slice of bread. Friendly servants. Irish coffee was less, no cream on it, but that was the only negative remark I can make.

We stayed here as part of a Keukenhof package and the location was great. It was easy to get to Keukenhof and brought us in (by car from the hotel) on the less busy side. The hotel could use some updating. Dinner and breakfast were good. We loved the rental bikes available.

We stayed here for 4 nights and were a bit apprehensive having read some of the reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very spacious and although the decor was a bit dated, it was very clean. The bathroom was spotless. The location is lovely, with walks out on to the dunes... More

We recently spent 2 evenings here while touring Holland on a bike tour. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We stayed Sunday and Monday evenings. Breakfast buffet was nothing to brag about but the dinners were absolutely delicious! We were well situated to the tulip fields of Leiden, which were breathtaking.

This place is mainly run by apprentices, which in itself can be fine if they are guided well. Now there lies the problem. My husband asked for an aspirin and the reception said they couldn't give it because of liability issues. An aspirin... We ended up having to go to a night doctor and all-night pharmacy about 12 km away... More
