I can see why this Hotel gets mixed reviews. As a Business Hotel, it was perfect. Conference facilities were spacious and worked well. Rooms were comfortable although my sea view was hindered by the scaffolding and screen and the work went on until 6pm. The food quality was excellent and the location was perfect with loads of parking (at a... More

A wonderful setting but a very old fashioned once a 5 star hotel. Decoration is old fashioned, rooms are very run down with old deteriorated bathroom. Carpets on the staircase are worn, breakfast is mediocre. Only positive a very kind staff trying to make up for a tired environment.

Impressive outside and great location is let down by tired dated interior. Bathrooms really dated. The decor lighting etc is more old fashioned than retro. All windows really dirty and despite me asking for the huge smear of bird droppings to be removed nothing happened. For a Dutch hotel, the staff are very nice and customer oriented. All in all,... A nice hotel. But renovation with a lot of noise in front of our room. A workers elevator outdoor and drilling in the wall. The said it was mentioned on the website. So that was our fault. But it also said on the website that the the working would stop at 16:00 hours. Well it did go on till 19:30... More

This is a great business hotel 25 min from Amsterdam airport, and situated on the beautiful beach in Nordwijk. I recently stayed here attending a Forum. This is a very classic and traditional hotel, the business facilities are great, plenty of meeting rooms in various sizes, great break out space for refreshments. Our room was spacious and had all mod... More

Great location, just in front of the sea, with amazing views. Everything at the hotel is comfortable, the facilities are in very good shape and the staff is more than helpful, they took care of every single detail. I tried the food in different outlets and everything was delicious but my best experience was enjoying the breakers beach club.

I stayed here on business and also used their meeting facilities. The accommodation was good with strong wifi, a very comfortable bed and good facilities. The bar and restaurant areas were also good, and they also have their own nightclub as a bonus! Prices are very reasonable for what you get too. The business facilities worked very well - extremely... More

I have stayed here one night for business. The meeting room itself was already amazing because of the view on the sea. The f&b facilities during the meeting were perfect. When entering the hotel room, again a perfect view over sea. Very comfortable beds, spacious and clean bathroom and a compact working area. The hotel lobby and surroundings are impressive.... More

Apparently this is the meaning of Huis ter Duin, which is very appropriate, sitting as it is on the dunes facing the North Sea. As one would expect from a hotel in this category, staff is helpful and friendly and linen, drinks and food are of very good quality. I also found it clean and tidy, and the noise level... More

It sounds like quite something... "Grand Hotel Ter Duin" and I thought that it would be some classic old hotel but it's just a very large dated eighties hotel at the sea in Noordwijk. The architecture is ugly eighties. The carpets worn, the furniture fashioned to exude class and style but never quite manages that. The staff is super friendly,... More
