Excellent hotel on perfect location with great view of dunes and beach. 2 seconds from the beach and boulevard with plenty of restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast bar is good, not great. Car parking is a 2 minute walk behind the hotel at an outdoor public parking area.

Was a bit disappointed. My bathroom had strange smell and very poor lightning. Very hard to put on make-up. The bed was not comfortable and the room got very hot during the days even though I used the curtains. The lunch and breakfast was not very exiting. For lunch it was served a soup as a starter and it was... More

All in all we enjoyed our stay at the Golden Tulip. Our party consisted of twelve males who descended on the hotel to spend four nights , using it as a base for touring the area. We found the registration very efficient and were surprised to find that our bikes were to be stored in the hotel's conference room (very... More

I stayed here with a group of lads on a cycling trip as such a top class hotel wasnt high on our list of priorities. Our experience of the Golden Tulip was very mixed some quite good some frankly awful. So to start with the positive, the reception staff were very helpfull during the booking process and were very willing... More

Visited this hotel with a group of friends during a cycling holiday. Location first rate, ambiance good and rooms okay although our twin room was comfortable if not a little tight on space. We had a really good fixed price dinner one night with some wine included which we couldn't fault at all. Bar was nice, outside terrace fabulous in the... More

We spent 5 days in this hotel. They had a full breakfast and the dinners were good as well. We rented bikes and went to the Keukenhof, Katwijk and Space Expo, which was nearby. Our room was nice, although the curtains could use a wash and an armchair was broken. But overall I can recommend this hotel for a short... More

The Golden Tulip is good if you don't stay for too long. Overall it feels a bit outdated what you primarily experience when you try to take the stairs to or from your room. The stairs are narrow and steep so you don't want to use them with your luggage. But for that there is the elevator. Only if you... More

Here on business. Love the location - nothing like a run along the beach to clear the head. Rooms are spacious, but a little tired. Fire escape stairs outside my room gave me cause to wonder how secured room was. Memory foam beds were not to my taste, but not desperately uncomfortable. The star of the show was the food... More

Jut on the beach strip with only a few meters to cross the road this is the place for spending many hours on the beach. Staff is ok, so is the restaurant. Accomodation is a bit old fashioned with sometimes old bathrooms, noisy rooms with wooden floors. A good choice for cost effective business accomodation and middle of the road... More

We had a Beach facing room on the 3rd floor, with a raging wind for 3 days, better to see from the room than in the wind down stairs. We enjoyed the close location for the Kuekenhoff Gardens, (our reason for booking), plus the view & swim pool. The hotel indicates that the rooms are wheelchair accessible, which they are... More
