Stayed here over new years. Cant see what the bad reviews are about, the hotel is very clean and modern. Our room was spacious, large bed, cleaned everyday. Good big tv in the room, mostly french channels but a couple english. Small gridge in room which is handy for drinks. Clean bathroom. Room cleaned everyday with new towels. Staff are... More

Nice size room with comfortable bed, good TV and shower. 10 minute walk to Metro but if you're driving there is a good sized car park on site which is a reasonable price for central location. ( £15 for 24 hours). Friendly and attentive staff eg providing without asking at our 2nd breakfast something which we had requested on our... More

Stayed two nights at the Mercure. After a very pleasant greeting and smooth check-in from the ladies on reception it all went down hill. The room, although clean was very pooly lit which went to not lit at all, as all the lights went out on our floor, though this was quickly resolved. The restaurant was the 'highlight of my... More

The hotel is very tired and in desperate need of a facelift. My room was not at all welcoming and I wasn't comfortable spending more time in there than I had to. The carpet was a disgrace! For Paris the food was very mediocre too. If you want to explore the city the location of the hotel is very poor... More

The hotel is average. You get what you pay for and if you're brave enough to handle the most complicated metro in the world and take 3 different metros and 15 stops to get anywhere. Then you'll be alright. It's outside the center of Paris, no shopping, no really good restaurants (but there could be if I hadn't spent most... More

The hotel itself is okay but nothing more. It's decoration reminds me of a hotel from the 80s and my room smelt of smoke. The staff were friendly though and the room was clean. Breakfast is quite limited.

We stayed last night August 1st at the Mercure Porte d'orleans hotel, after our flight was cancelled. I have never had a worse experience checkin-in a hotel. The person at the Hotel, Abba, was disrespectful with the people checking in, and really made us never want to return to France again. I've never had such a bad service in any... More

Dear guest , I thank you for sharing your review. I deeply apologize for all the disagreements that you went through that day. The person that was working that evening at the front desk had never encountered such situation, meaning welcoming and preparing an unexpected group arrival, he had to face it on his own for the first time.
