A beautifully restored house with a modern interpretation of the interior. A warm welcome and seamless service. Excellent recommendations for places to eat. Thank you Fulvio and team - sorry we couldn't stay longer.

We travelled last year so my review is very late and I can only go back as far as august but we were there in very early summer However we enjoyed it so much I had to get around to writing this review. The property is beautiful and very well kept. You really feel at home or at least at... More

It's difficult to begin to say how good Villa Rosmarino is because for us it was so close to being perfect. We found this beautiful hotel in the middle of the worst thunder storm we'd ever driven in but thank goodness the wonderful Mario was waiting out in the road in the pouring rain to flag us down (so typical... We have just returned from a 3 night stay in Villa Rosmarino. We had the most fantastic time. Francesa gave us great advice on walks in the area, which are equally, if not more breath-taking then the cinque terre. The walk from Portofino to San Fruttosso is out of this world. Mario gave us great restaurant recommendations. A visit to... More

We just spent two nights here and it was our first time in Camogli as we'll. A really friendly welcome from all staff. Help with restaurants and transport. A comfortable villa, over 100 years old but decorated in an eclectic modern way. Amazing views from the terrace with our room. Nice pool area and garden. Easy walk downhill to the... More

Villa rosmarino is a nice property with a great pool area. The staff during our stay we're very hot/cold - except the employee from the Philippines who's name I have forgotten (apologies) - he was very helpful and friendly. As everybody else has stated it is a 15 minute walk down into town - this is no issue and is... More

We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at the Villa Rosmarino and would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Camogli. A gorgeous house in stunning, fragrant gardens with views down to Camogli and the Med and a nice pool. Rooms were comfortable but lacking a little in inspiration when it came to furnishing, a good wardrobe wouldn't go... More

We has a lovely stay in this beautiful Villa, set outside the centre of Camogli. The warm, personalised service from Mario, Francesca and team was second to none. The Villa was very comfortable, stylish and well cared for, with a lovely pool area and gardens. Be prepared for a 10 minute walk into the centre of Camogli for any restaurants... More

We booked here as a referral because Hotel Cenobio where our friends were staying was full...we were delighted; they may not have the same sea view but the location half way up the hillside overlooking the bay and the gardens certainly made up for that...only 300 steps straight down to the train station/ harbour - but getting a taxi for... We were so warmly greeted by Mario, the owner of the hotel that we automatically felt at home. The Villa smelt like holiday, the flowers walking up to the door were to aromatic. Mario gave us such fantastic suggestions of what to do and where to eat. Every suggestion was spot on, if only we had more days there to... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Built in 1907 over a pre-existing structure, Villa Rosmarino is a typical Ligurian small palace with green shutters and trompe l’oeil which reproduce on the wall frescoes, decorations and floral motifs. To its first owner, a local sea captain who commissioned the building at the end of XIX century, Villa Rosmarino was their country home where to take rests in between long seafaring journeys, but also where the olives coming from the trees and land surrounding the villa were crushed. In the ground floor was an old oil mill to produce olive oil for the needs of the resident family but also for those residing in the neighboring villas. The grind stones of the oil mill have been kept after the restructuring and are part of the decoration of the garden of the villa. ... more   less
