What a way to start a trip! Beautiful. We opted for taxis at the Genova Airport and were zoomed to within feet of the lovely stair that takes you down to the Casmona entrance. A great hotel in an even greater location. THe previous post said it all. For a two star hotel this packs a real punch. It can not be faulted in any way. I would have to agree ask for the rooms with the verandahs but either way you will get value for money. more

Stayed at Casmona for a week March 2004 and found it to be the perfect base for exploring this part of Italy by train. Train station is a very short walk. Bank, ATM, post office and a supermarket are very close by. Spend the extra for a room with a rooftop terrace. Ours was very large with a shady tree... more
