The hotel is approached down a long flight of steps which is a pain but as you enter reception you have a commanding sea view which makes it all much better! We chose this spot to stop over on the way to Cinque Terre. Great move! We were jet-lagged out and had taken the train from Genoa. It is close to the train station. Camogli was on our grande tour of EU and we were not disappointed. This is not a luxury hotel…it’s definitely more of a beach hotel. If you’re ok with that, then we absolutely recommend it, especially a room with a patio. Stayed for 3 nights in April '07. Originally booked for two nights, but stayed another. Had to move to another room, view not as spectacular, but seaside, still good. What a way to start a trip! Beautiful. We opted for taxis at the Genova Airport and were zoomed to within feet of the lovely stair that takes you down to the Casmona entrance.
