SellaMaris is its own Cinque Terra without the crowds ! The views are fantastic and the staff very friendly . Mind you its easier to get there by boat and well with it . The restaurant offers great food and wine . I like traveling to quiet places is this is one of them .

In June 2015 I stayed with my boyfriend at Stella Maris for two nights and unfortunately we were glad to leave and we took the first boat on Sunday morning back to Camogli. When we arrived on Friday early evening we haven't even been welcomed properly and showed around, instead we were just brought straight to our room. Nobody who... More

Dear LondonNeska I am very sorry about the experience told in your review, certainly the lack of communication has generated a lot of misunderstanding, in that days our english speaking person was not there. For the other issue, we will consider your comments to improve our hospitality in order to offer a better level of service to our customers. Best... More

If you feel life is too precious to spend holiday time in ordinary locations, then check out Stella Maris, Camogli... different, delightful, surprising and quite extraordinary. For starters, all travel is by means of foot or ferry; the latter are reliable and regular (like a good bus service) therefore there is peace and quiet, in harmony with nature and the... More

The reason to go to StellaMaris is the stunning views, being at one with nature and although the walk from Carmogli is a physical trek, it is wonderful with glimpses of bays as you meander through tall trees and dip in and out of communities. Swimming off the rocks was blissful. The food was good, but with a little more... More

I loved it. The views from here are second to none. The boat ride between islands is fun, found some beautiful cove beaches nearby. A very peaceful retreat! Food was predominantly seafood , pricey but great and worth it. Plenty of rustic charm. Rooms quite old but nice style.

We came back to StellaMaris after many years and could see some improvements since the last time where the hotel rooms basically were shacks. A few years ago, as we were told, all the rooms were renovated which in any case is an improvement. StellaMaris is a unique place, situated above the sea in the very nature and with a... More

It was our chance to entertain our globe-trotting amigos who have generously shared their stellar hotels with us. Picture this. A picturesque harbour, colourful houses and a superb sea view. - at first sight Camogli seems like just one more pretty village on the Liguarian coast. the place may be small, but it has history on its side in a grand scale.... Getting to the hotel is not widely advertised. You have to go to a bar in the camogli quay and they call the hotel to come and fetch you. Alternatively you catch the water taxi but be careful not to get ripped off. There is a tariff chart at the waterside at the hotel end. The hotel is set in... More

it was the most deceiving hotel i have ever been. located in one of the most beautiful spots of Liguria the hotel is shabby, dirty, the staff is horrendous. It is unbelievable that in a place like this the owners run such a horrible place. I am sure the staff is aware of the terrible conditions, in fact they were... More
