Checked out Trip Advisor before booking hotel in Limone. This one had very good reveiws so we booked it. Hotel pretty to look at. We found the hotel on many postcards in the resorts we visited and even 2010's calendar! View of the lake from our room incredible. Extremeley friendly owner and staff. Clean. Well furnished. Just got back from staying at this hotel and first time on Lake Garda, we loved it! The hotel is idyllic, the views were wonderful from our balcony. Our every need was catered to. Will definitely be going back as soon as possible. more

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Everyone was so helpful. From the owners to the waiters & waitresses. We had a fab balcony overlooking the harbour. Heaven!!! Breakfast was outstanding with fresh fruit salad etc. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. more

Spent two very enjoyable days in Limone, staying at the wonderful Monte Baldo. We had two rooms as singles, at the back without a view, but it didn't matter - and in fact had the advantage of being really quiet despite being in the centre of things. We stayed at Hotel Monte Baldo in July 2008. It has just been completely refurbished and is very smart, well appointed and clean. The staff are really friendly, there is a good breakfast and the position in the old harbour cannot be bettered; it is probably the best small hotel that we have stayed at. more

On arriving in Limone last week with nowhere to stay, we happened on the Hotel Monte Baldo, which is a 1 star hotel in the old port part of Limone.
