We have just returned from a brilliant week in Limone Lake Garda. We stayed in the Royal Village Hotel Fantastic views from our room of the Lake and surrounding area. Hotel is situated up a steep hill but there is a hotel bus which costs 1 euro. Rooms were basic but very clean as was the hotel and outdoor and... More

Good location away from hustle, but limited choice of food unless you like pork and rice, some pasta dishes but mainly plain pasta with tomato sauce. Limited all inclusive, more full board. Room quite small balcony overlooking other rooms, but did have a good view to other side of the lake.

This is a lovely hotel. The best thing about it for me was the staff who were so helpful, attentive and courteous. Whether they were on reception, working in the restaurants and bars or maintaining the property they were wonderful. Its buffet style food, which I enjoyed - loads of rice, salad and pasta - my sort of thing. If... More

We stayed at the Royal Village for 7 nights Aug 2014, we chose this hotel as it was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre but close enough to walk. To start with the plus side, the views of the lake from the hotel were stunning, which was one of the reasons for choosing this... More

We turned up without a reservation and needing a room for a couple of nights. Staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and adequate and suited us for a short stay. Unfortunately, the WiFi only worked in the main lobby and as we had to pay per day and per device I was disappointed with that. It's not... More

We stayed at the Royal Village in 2013, and because we wanted a relaxing two week holiday, decided to return to Limone. We paid extra for a balcony and lake view, because to me it seems weird to pay the money to go to such a beautiful location, and not see the lake. The room was a good size, had... More

We spent two nights at The Royal Village, and we were pleasantly surprised, the rooms were basic, but adequate, we had a small balcony with a view of the lake and pool. Breakfast was good, great choice of foods, as was dinner, great choice, maybe not the best quality ever but perfectly fine. The choice of desserts was great and... More

The room When we booked this holiday we paid a supplement in order to get a lake-facing room. We specified a twin bedded room which must have a bath. The room we were given on arrival was small, low-ceilinged and dingy but it did have a bath. It was extremely dark and the view overlooked a swimming pool which at... More

Spent a week at this hotel for a short holiday in June. The tour operator was Newmarket and they failed to mention in their brochure that this establishment is a number of buildings located on a steep slope and a very steep walk down (and then up back to the hotel. There is a hotel bus but it didn't go... More

Just back from an 8 day stay at this hotel. Good points far outweigh the bad. The meals in the restaurant are all buffet style, selection is very good. Free wine, beer and soft drinks at dinner time. From 10 til 6 every day free wine, beer, soft drinks and hot drinks are available from machine near the bar. The... More
