We have just returned from a 7 day stay at this hotel. It was chosen by us as it was four stars and had an indoor and outdoor pool. We were aware that it involved an uphill walk back to the hotel from Limone village. Having experienced this I would say that anyone with any mobility issues or very young... More

I love Italy and I loved Lake Garda. I stayed here as a single traveller, the room was small and the bathroom tiny I would doubt any one larger than a size 18 would be able to sit on the loo in comfort ( room 302) partial view of the lake and hills but non the less quiet on an... More

This was my second tip to Garda. This time I chose the upper side of the lake and went to Limone sul Garda. The Hotel Royal Village had an excellent price as season is just beginning. The rooms are very nice and the staff quite friendly. I must say that the bathroom was all new and perfectly clean. The bar... More

Dear client, we would like to thank you for choosing to review our hotel, that managed to give you a pleasant holiday by the Garda lake. We are surprised that you found the breakfast poor, because our buffets always offer a wide choice of dishes to meet the needs of all our international clientele. With regard to the quality of... Stayed here in June 2014 - on arrival allocated a room in the main block above restaurant area - have to say was really disappointed as the room was terrible very dated and at best 1 star ( phoned Thomson rep and was very swiftly contacted by reception who offers to change us ) we then moved to a updated... I think we left it too late in the season to visit Lake Garda (Limone) as it was the first week in October. The only really hot day we had was on our trip to Venice (glorious city). We found our hotel (Royal Village) to be very nice but as it was late in the season the outdoor pools were... More

The surrounding villages are beautiful. All the food outlets are reasonably priced ane we never felt we were getting ripped off. The hotel... More

This is a lovely hotel with beautiful views of the lake. The receptionists speak good English and are very helpful. Other staff are also pleasant especially Antonella who is always cheerful and smiling. Each day she carries out her duties efficiently always realising when and where help is needed. The buffet style food is plentiful and of good quality. However,... More

We have just returned from a brilliant week in Limone Lake Garda. We stayed in the Royal Village Hotel Fantastic views from our room of the Lake and surrounding area. Hotel is situated up a steep hill but there is a hotel bus which costs 1 euro. Rooms were basic but very clean as was the hotel and outdoor and... More

Good location away from hustle, but limited choice of food unless you like pork and rice, some pasta dishes but mainly plain pasta with tomato sauce. Limited all inclusive, more full board. Room quite small balcony overlooking other rooms, but did have a good view to other side of the lake.

This is a lovely hotel. The best thing about it for me was the staff who were so helpful, attentive and courteous. Whether they were on reception, working in the restaurants and bars or maintaining the property they were wonderful. Its buffet style food, which I enjoyed - loads of rice, salad and pasta - my sort of thing. If... More
