From even before we arrived until we left the husband and wife owners were really helpful and friendly could not have asked for better hospitality. Friendly and helpful owners were always available. The open veranda of the hotel was exceedingly pleasant and relaxing. Away from main road, but easy to walk into the village.Views of lake, pool, grounds and sports facilities were pleasing. Good value, especially the 12 euro evening meal. The area in which this hotel is located is incredible. If you are looking for an all-inclusive, convenience, spa vacation then this is not for you; however, if you are looking to learn the culture & history, see the medieval towns, hike, bike, ski, and eat and drink amazing local food, then you are right on target. Stayed here for 3 nights: 2 adults and 2 teen agers. Simple, but nice rooms though bath rooms were very small (big people may have problems). Air condition worked well - important in July.
