We wanted a place just outside of Siena so we wouldn't have to worry about driving near the city or parking. Even though we were only 2-3 miles from the center of Siena, we were in the country surrounded by a grove of olive trees. The grounds are very beautiful and we saw a spectacular sunset from the edge of... More

Having stayed at the sister hotel Soggiorno Lo Stellino many times, now that the spring is here we decided to stay a few minutes down the road at L'Aia in the village of Monteriggioni. The estate is easy to find with covered parking in the garden. Amidst the large olive grove is a lovely swimming pool, swings and climbing ropes... More

Spent the weekend with my colleagues. Booked through booking.com and we saved up 25 euros off the regular price. The resort is an old farmhouse converted in small, cozy private apartments surrounded by olive trees. All of which have a private veranda, kitchenette and a breathtaking view of the tuscan hills. The furniture is rustic yet classy. You are completely... More

This place is very good value for money and was a beautiful relaxing place to enjoy for the last 5 days at the end of our 2 week holiday in Italy, but we wanted to make sure people were aware that there is some misleading information out there about the facilities, so we want to make sure that if you... We have been at this wonderfull agroturismo four times in seven years. We really love the quietness, the charm, the olive trees, nature on the premises and the large heated pool. We have paid less than 100 euros for a room. But another time, we were given a small appartment with a little private garden, for the same price, as... More

The rooms are really nice and the grounds are beautiful as well. However, their service leaves a lot to be desired. They have two locations but only one reception. You are supposed to check-in at the other location but they don't make it very clear in their communications. So, if you just look at the address and get there, you... More

We wanted to experience a Tuscan farmhouse and were pleasantly surprised by L'Aia. It was comfortable with unique furnishings and conveniently located just outside Siena. We spent only three nights there, but I bet this is a great place for families to spend a whole week. The property has a pool, a play area for kids, badminton and more. We... More
