What a fantastic place! Great accommodation on a family farm, ideal location, home-grown organic produce - including excellent wine, lovely swimming pool and really welcoming hosts. Just an ideal base from which to experience Tuscany.

I dreamed last night that I was at Antico Uliveto. I have been there twice and hope to go back. Visiting Antico Uliveto (Ancient Olive Orchard) is like entering a Tuscan dreamscape. The images are so familiar: the rolling hills lined with vineyards, the ubiquitous cypress trees, bush-like lavender and rosemary plants dotting the grounds, olive trees with their silvery... More

Antico Uliveto is a third generation working organic farm situated in the heart of the Chianti region of Tuscany. The accommodations are very nice with a true country charm. The property is filled with flower gardens and is very well kept. The family running the place is super friendly and helpful. This place is just 15 minute from Siena and... More

The biggest disappointment was the dinner. For 40€ you expect more than ham and a soup. The location isn't the best, you can't walk around, being that isolated. The swimming pool was closed already in September (+27 C). Overall we don't think it's worth 100€/night, taken into consideration other agriturismos in the region. PLUS: the view and a nice shower (a luxury... More

we found this opinion very unfair and we would like to point out few things: - the dinner was 20 euro for each person, brought to the room at no extra charge and consists of 4 kind of crostini, sausage, spelt and vegetable soup , cold cuts and pecorino cheese , ricotta with honey, with our organic Chianti wine +... The best agriturismo I have ever been to, and I have been to many! It is just perfect in every way. The owner Daniela is an incredible host, so friendly and helpful, always smiling, and a brilliant sense of humour! Manuella is the beauty/massage therapist, I highly recommend the Hawaiian massage, three of us had it, we are all therapists... More

It is worth staying for the wonderful hospitality from Daniela and her niece Sylvia. The setting is lovely and the rooms a delight. We loved the organic produce and the intimate garden.More English than Tuscan especially after the May rain ! The restaurant down the lane is great .No need to travel.Good house wine and authentic Tuscan food Try the rabbit. Castellina... More

Fantastic Agriturismo, we had an amazing time, thanks to Veronica who welcomed us with a glass of wine at check-in and was able to give us loads of information about the area and places to go. There was local produce in the room to welcome us, such as wine & vin santo from the land, fresh baked cake and all... More

We stayed for 3 nights in June 2012. Veronica and Daniela are very gracious hostesses. They always had smiles on their faces and were eager to help us plan meals and our days to have a fabulous vacation. (All of their recommendations were fantastic!). Our room had country charm and was immaculately clean. We had a breathtaking view overlooking the... More

Loved our little room here when we stayed here back in September 2007 and was having such fond memories that I thought I'd write a delayed review. The grounds and surrounding views were beautiful and the accommodations very fitting with the local experience while still being comfortable. The staff was very helpful too. I enjoyed the pasta making lesson and... More
