The Hotel Monteriggioni is on of those rare hotel finds that turns your "trip" into a "vacation". Located within the walls of a 12th century castel, it's the perfect "base camp" with which to explore and enjoy all of Tuscany. The rooms/bathrooms are well-appointed and intimately cozy for couples, however, some would find the shower a bit small (but what... more

We just returned last night from a wonderful trip to italy. Tuscany was our last stop and we had a wonderful 4 night stay at Hotel Monteriggioni. The hotel is Charming within the walled small, quaint medieval town of Monteriggioni. The view from our room was of the beautiful Tuscan landscape and the garden and small pool area in the... more

We just returned from a 2 week visit to Italy. We spent 6 days at Hotel Monteriggioni. What a treat. We could not have been happier. The rooms were spacious and very clean and we had an unbelievable view of Tuscany from our window. The owners and staff made us feel like family. Each morning we were treated to a... more

Monteriggioni is a beautiful, charming village and we loved the hotel. I cannot say enough good things about the owner and staff. I broke my ankle during my visit (not at the hotel) and everyone took such good care of my husband and I while we were making arrangements to fly back to the US for surgery. The hotel really... more

I am surprised this property isn't more widely known on Trip Advisor because it is absolutely perfect. It is a nicely priced 4 star hotel in a quaint little town with easy access to the rest of Tuscany. The staff is very nice, with a special nod to Sylvia, the young lady who was generally around in the evenings. The... more

First let me say that I think Tuscany is the most over rated destination in the world (which slightly colours my view...). We stayed the weekend and paid about 250 euros for each night - I thought this was on the expensive side in terms of value for money. The rooms were very, very basic (although not unpleasant), and the... more

Outstanding and friendly staff ... spotlessly clean ... a fairy tale vacation stop. Hotel Monteriggioni is the choice for anyone looking for a quiet yet centrally located stop in Tuscany. Our second stay in this quaint, historical walled town at the Hotel was just as magical as the first one 18 months ago. We arrived the first time as guests... more

A charming little medieval walled town was the site of this super little hotel. It is a converted villa so there are only a few rooms but they are all lovely. Very well decorated and very clean. The hotel looks out over a little garden bordered by olive groves and a tiny swimming pool to cool off in. The staff... more
