The Gruener Baum recently hosted my wedding reception and also provided the accommodation for all of my wedding guests. The wedding party comprised of a diverse range of ages and backgrounds and yet everyone's needs were met and catered for to the highest of standards. The hotel is the perfect mix of traditional German 'gemuetlichkeit' and all the conveniences you... More

Stayed here for a week for an Irish Wedding with family. Had a wonderful time, fantastic breakfast and food served, and the staff were super, very friendly and obliging. The Hotel itself was beautiful very clean, very easy access to surrounding towns and tourists spots.

Just back from a wonderful holiday/ wedding in the hotel. All the staff especially Elke,Natalie and Michael were thoughtful , kind and attentive, anything we asked was not a problem infact they did more for their guests than any hotel I have been to. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable . I will definately come back to this hotel... More

We stayed here on the first night of our Danube cycle. It is a great location- just a km away from the station and town, and a few metres from the start of the Danube cycle way. The rooms were very nice and breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant had a limited menu on the evening we were there so... More

We stayed here only 2 nights (22 April - 24 April) but what a wonderful 2 nights it was! The hotel owner was so delightful and her son, the chef, was first class! A nice 10 minute walk from/to the train station in a residential neighborhood. The city itself was totally fun walking, and taking a tour of the Fürstenberg... More

I was here with a group that participated in the 2013 state choir championships. The rooms were simply furnished but spotless and comfortable: mine had a lovely, freshly renovated, sparkling clean bathroom. The food in the restaurant was tasty and fresh, and the breakfast buffet was nothing less than spectacular. The prices (both for room and for food) were extremely... More

Had five days at Gruner Baum as part of a coach group from Scotland. This was a good tourist class hotel with friendly staff. Situated on the outskirts of town with train and bus connections into town. Nice dining room and bar, spacious rooms but could do with a little updating. Problem with old televisions in rooms (many in group... More
