This is a good quality chain of hotels, this location a little dated now but quite acceptable. I found one of the managers quite short and rude with me (I had lost all my cards etc at San Fermin and trying to phone the helpline), but the others very pleasant. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Tryp Urdanibia Hotel for four nights and were generally quite pleased with the standard of accomodation. Reasonable quality chain hotel near motorway at edge of Irun. Best feature is location, especially as a journey breaker or overnight trip to spanish basque country from france (which is what we did). irun is a dump but hotel is only 15 mins from san sebastian and 5 from hondarribia (nice little spanish resort across from hendaye). has a reasonable... more
