I was already 2 times in Atalaia Hotel for Business trips. Good service, cleany rooms, location near the motorway access. Staff could be little bit more professional, I mean more flexible and higher level of english cannot be worse as now. Ok the restaurant, acceptable. Menu only in Spanish and France.

First time traveling with our 1 month daughter, all was good. Kind and helpful staff. Good breakfast, worth the value (8€). Upon request, the cradle for our baby was available and installed in our room prior our arrival for free. Nice modern and cosy atmosphere.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! We arrived well after midnight, having phoned ahead to say we were running late. The reception is 24 hour and the staff all speak very good English are so very helpful. The hotel is literally just yards inside the French/Spanish border, easy to find, come off after the toll and... More

Hard to believe this is only a 3 star hotel. Rooms superb, immaculately clean. Excellent and equally spotless bathroom. Hotel has a boutique style and public areas are very, very comfortable. Welcome at reception could not have been better. As the restaurant was not open, having arrived after a 450 mile drive, we opted to eat on the balcony. The... More

Not sure why it is only 3 star. Stayed on a Friday night on route to south of Spain. Room was excellent. Lots of space, clean, and bright. Dog friendly, and because it was Friday, the restaurant was open in the evening. This was a winters night, so not sure when/if open during the peak season. If so, well worth... More

Travelling through Spain and France we overnighted at this hotel (both directions). The staff were welcoming even to our two English Bull Terriers who were welcome to stay with us in our room. The room was large, airy and very comfortable. Although the restaurant and bar were not open in the late evening the staff happily provided us with drinks... More

This is a beautiful quiet B and B. It is a family owned hotel and you can tell that they want to provide excellent service. The people were extremely friendly and helpful. I traveled with a school group and the accommodations were awesome. It is conveniently located in Basque Country and allowed my group to travel easily between southern France... More

We stumbled across this place on a recent journey from Normandy, France to Madrid. Being just too tired to continue, we decided to get off the highway and find a place for the night. Initially we were looking for something along the lines of a Ibis Hotel but the Hotel Atalaia was right at the the first traffic circle after... More

We stopped at this hotel on our drive from southern France to northern Spain. It is conveniently located right off the highway. We arrived after midnight, the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. She gave us rooms in the newly renovated section. The rooms were extremely large, clean and even had amenties in the bathroom. There are plenty of shops... More

We travel to Irun every 3 months from France for shopping at Centro Comercial. Today we thought we would try the restaurant Atalaia as it is next door to the centre. I am glad we did! At Euro 14 for 3 courses, choice of 4 starters, mains and desserts - lovely ambiance, decor, great value and wonderful staff. The food... More
